It's awesome how both Draymond Green and DeMarcus Cousins have nothing but good things to say about Joel.

Just imagine how much better they would be with a better defender than Saric.

to be fair, how many teams have a player as good as saric as their 5th best starter?

Yeah, but when you really think about it, do we want the approval of emotionally unstable and immature players?

Embiid is amazing. I didnt feel like he never was going great offensively, yet he got 28 pints (?) and played crazy defensive. They didn't have a chance against him!

Couple that his with attitude and he is by far the player I enjoy watching the most. Shouldn't he lose a little weight tho, wouldn't be get even better or is his strength his.. strength? I don't know how he exactly looked when he got into the league.

I could imagine there a number of teams with better, especially at PF.

Actually if you ask me which Center I want for my perfect championship caliber team, I will chose Asik hands down

Saric is a good fit. He's big enough to complicate the things for our opponents with our advantage in size. He's a good secondary playmaker off Simmons. He can defend multiple positions. And he can space the floor.

I posted this at the 76 vs PTB thread, most teams have a tough time with this line-up because of the cross matches and most fall into the trap that their PF can defend Ben, when most times Ben is quick enough that their guards would be the one defending him on transition D.

Only occasionally.

Occasionally knock down his shots. Always space the floor.

He has poor deflections but he's like a mobile and friendly version of Zaza Pachulia on D. He can switch and is very good at reading the D. Place him with Ben,Biid and Roco and he wont be an issue. But place him with Amir and TLC, and he will be an issue

To 76ers die hard fans, Embiid is now playing 30+ mpg on a regular basis, do you guys know when he will be eventually be cleared to play in back to backs?

Understated really is his basketball IQ

I dont know if you guys noticed how when the opponents is in the penalty, he knows how to draw fouls by art of trying to get position.

Man.. If his shooting returns to normal, he'll be more than 81% :)

Nobody knows when that will happen. We can only guess.

My guess is that he will be playing in some back to backs after the allstar break as long as he continues to stay healthy.

With the NBA's effort to reduce B2B's, I honestly wouldn't be upset if he never plays both games. I figure Embiid is going to get several games off for rest each year, and if those games do add more chance of injury than normal games, I don't mind just using those as his rest games each year.

Yup agreed here 100 percent. I am fine if Embiid plays 60 gms/yr for the next 10 years so that he is rested and "managed well" for the playoffs.

That's the best 5-man lineup with even 50 minutes played - increases qualified line-ups from 27 to 68.

Also, lol, why does Scalleta have me blocked? I just checked and I've never interacted with him before. :D

He probably posted here on a ballboy account that you may have reprimanded, at one point.

Lol. That’s weird why he would block you.
