How long was Jo out when Fultz's adamantium shoulder turned his face into alphabet soup? Seems like it was around this long, about 11 games? Front office not being honest with us again, Embiid had his own freaking press conference to tell us what is happening. When can we get some transparency or honor in the organization? Its the same **** with every injury every year much like our 4th quarter leads. This team is in groundhogs day right now

Now I'm starting to get a little worried. We have under 16 games left (after Hou game). He will need at least 5-10 games to get his wind back, another few games to get his legs and rhythm back.. We are on a tight schedule here.

I'm not getting my hopes up. Fully expect him to miss Sunday's crucial matchup against Indy.

Embiid about tank my fantasy season...seriously if you are injured why you playing in a meaningless all star game? Then he comes out of the break with a "sore knee". Give me a break. Condolences sixers fans, this man simply can't stay healthy

It’s probably heresy to say this, but I’d be open to trading him this summer. We’re never gonna get HCA in the playoffs or appropriate team chemistry with him playing only 60 games per season.
2025-2026 Philadelphia 76ers:

Maxey/McCain/Lowry
Edgecombe/Grimes/Gordon
George/Oubre/Edwards
Barlow/Watford/Walker

Absolutely it's a no-brainer he's only 24 and already breaking down get rid of him while we can.

It's definitely tough to hear. I don't want to troll, but just thinking big picture, it's always going to be a struggle with him.

If our whole offense is built around him and he only plays 75% of the games each season, we're destined for 3-4 seeds for the foreseeable future IMO.

Kobble's posts about KAT are not totally outrageous IMO. Only issue is we have Butler now, so...

Did not hear any comments from Brett today regarding Embiid. Do you have a link?

Regardless, Joel is still the best talent this franchise has seen in the last decade plus. I'd argue the idea of trading him is a far cry from a "no brainer."

Giannis had tendinitis this season too. A lot of players do. His body isn't breaking down.

Bucks smart to rest him especially on back to backs.

Sixers played embiid way too much on back to backs. And they lost most of those games on the road.

Wear and tear add up.

Have been out of country for the past three weeks, so haven't been able to watch any games. But I did
post earlier that Brown was playing Embiid too many minutes and running the risk of Embiid breaking
down by the end of the season. Despite my not having confidence in Brown as a "game" coach, this is
managerial malfeasance and, if Embiid doesn't come back strong, a fireable offense. Because it was
predictable. Too many games with 32-plus minutes.

I don't know if Tyler Zeller has any game left, but he's an active big body and we should have signed
him to a 10-day contract earlier in the year, at least give him tryout.

The only silver lining in this is that hopefully Embiid realizes that his minutes should be managed
moving forward. However, if he misses most of the playoffs, I believe Brown should be fired. Again,
this was predictable.

I understand it is all about what you can get for him, it heavily depends on that, but the injury concerns coupled with the bad fit with Ben indicates that trading him (when he is healthy and playing) is a good idea, again, if you get another star of course. We have Ben, Tobias and Butler, we don't really need Embiid as much anymore, we are full of stars, we just need another star that is a better fit with Ben, he is the player to build around because he has, at least, already reached Embiid's level and is an ironman who keeps playing and doesn't get tired. Towns is the perfect guy but of course Minnesota maybe says no.
Embiid was a nice story and brought us good moments and was our first real star, but it is time to move on.

Simmons is no where near Embiid's level or impact. Embiid is already a top 6-7 NBA player. Simmons is a fringe top 20-25 NBA player. It's a huge jump to get into the top 10 NBA. Another huge jump to get into the elite top 5 NBA (which Giannis has taken this season)

Injury concerns are real. Towns won't solve Sixers rim protection, he's soft inside defensively and focus so much on offense, he saves his energy on the defensive side. Plus he doesn't want to stand like a statue like Brook Lopez from 25 feet out watching Simmons operate inside. It's the defensive hole sixers have to close up when you trade Embiid.

So find a center that protects the rim plus spaces out on the 3 point line. It's not Towns.

The team isn’t going to trade Embiid.

For one his value tanks the moment you put him on the market. No one will give anything if value for a guy they think is broken...

Secondly dude loves it here and in today’s nba that **** matters.

I know you all just want to pump up your boy Ben but bottom line is that both guys need each other and the moment we trade either is the moment we might as well rank again imo because you are heading to no mans land and are capped out more than likely. And whoever is the remaining guy probably looks to bail. Our best bet is with these two and any trade will be the end of any championship chances. We are betting on both guys excellence TOGETHER and I highly doubt you get players of that same potential in any trade.

So put you agendas aside for once
