What's the rush? If nobody is willing to pay Hinkie what he perceives is fair value, he doesn't have to do anything.

There's nothing wrong with holding on to three veteran players who are having career years. Plus, none of the three vets is making waves and each is only 25 years old.

This has always been my stand.

I'd rather take my chances for re-signing both guys for a reasonable offer or even let them walk for cap space rather than other GM throwing low blow offers.
