I like Nawlins as a landing spot for Jah. I really didn't want to see him on the Celtics. Especially for what was rumored to be offered.

That's what I was thinking. Just watch he'll have a season ending injury soon...just our luck. :banghead:

seriously, we don't want to be trading for any more centers, let alone the mistakes NO are desparate to correct. it would be better to spend that cap on someone we really want, and at worst trade JO for at least a decent dark horse prospect.
i believe there are now a number of teams willing to bet on his gimpy knee mending. (Danny? Pops? Jerry?)

Just the opposite for me. I so want to see the Celtics with Okafor as their starting Center.

Actually if you ask me which Center I want for my perfect championship caliber team, I will chose Asik hands down

A top 14 protected 2018 pick (that probably rolls over to a couple 2nd rounders when the pick doesn't convey) for a 21 year old who was selected #3 a year ago is pretty pathetic return.

He's exactly what they need to ensure our future #1 spot in the Atlantic.

I'd be careful about trading for Jrue. Apparently he has had some undisclosed injuries in the past.

As long as he doesn't hold out too long and miss out on another trade, waiting a little for a better offer is ok.

All this time I thought Jrue was making a mistake but turns out he can just tell the future.

Ok....If we can get a protected first for him it's a fair deal. I don't like the rumor of Ajinca as the player coming back. Would much rather see Langston Galloway come back in the deal. We need guards and he's potentially a player we could hit on.

Which rumor is better? Chicago with McDermott in a deal or NOP with Jrue in a deal??

I'm calling BS on this. I don't understand why Philadelphia would want back the same PG that they already traded away.

Also if this is true, then I can only see the Pelicans asking for Noel for Jrue rather than Okafor. Especially since Noel for Jrue was the original trade anyway.

Wouldnt say complete bs, jrue injury history aside is a combo guard that can work well without the ball.

We didn't trade Jrue because we didn't want him. We traded him because it was the best move that we could do to jump start the process. He was a very valuable player on an organization with few other assets.

Jrue was a terrific player. Outside of the injury problems, he is one of the top guards in the league.

Pages and pages of activity from Sixers fans on this board in multiple threads, but on the Pelican's board there is one post to start a thread on the subject, with no replies.

It's amazing to me that a team with Anthony Davis can have such apathetic fans.

That tells me that the Pelicans should move to another city.

This is the worst post I've ever seen on any message board forum in my entire life.

You seriously think that the amount of fans on RealGM represent the actual fanbase as a whole? Why don't you go on the Spurs board and see the lack of activity there as well?

You realize that not every fan cares about RealGM or makes an account here right?

Pelicans have their own forum called Pelicans Report in which many of their fans post at. Spurs also have their own forum called Spurs Talk in which many of their fans post at.

And then there are fans who don't really care about online forums at all. In this day and age, there's social media such as Twitter, Facebook, Reddit etc for this.

What an absolute ridiculous thing to say that New Orleans doesn't deserve a team because the Pelicans RealGM forum is dead. You know that there's a world outside RealGM right?

I won't do it but I would bet my life that if we checked game attendance rankings, New Orleans is definitely ahead of Philadelphia in the past 10 years. So I guess that means Philadelphia doesn't deserve a team either right? Move the 76ers to Seattle then?

My goodness, I still can't get over how bad of a post this is.

This from the guy that simply cannot fathom how the Sixers traded Jrue to kick start their rebuild but might want him back now.
