We're not trading Ben until we have an idea what the new coaching staff can get out of him ...

I like it. I’m willing to send #49 and #58 along with Al to get it done if push comes to shove!

They're going to want #21 for sure. Horford does nothing for them, really, in the immediate future.

That was one of the things i was hearing. I've heard a few different rumors but i am hesitant with the new FO structure. I dont want to put too much out there b/c i dont know what is true and what is not.

Be careful bro. We don’t want them to smoke you out Tyrion style!!!

This is extremely good news. Like Hinkie said, if we make a myopic move with him it will be fun, but the party will be over very soon.

Sorry bout that is not how i operate. If i hear something concrete, i will share.

Most of these rumors never pan out so its a waste of time to divulge

I was hoping there was already Horford trade in place with how Doc and Morey were barely mentioning him. But it would have to be a miracle to get anything of value back for him.

Small fish, but I would have liked Bruce Brown. Good defender. Can kinda shoot... Sorta. I don't think he's a PG, but played a bit there this year. I think he's a solid role player. Should be a nice fit next to Kyrie (if he stays there).

True dat.
If Morey can convince them to take anything short of pick 21 (along with Al) for Hield, I'd consider it a win.

I feel like they did this to give Khyri Thomas some more time, who is a guy that I would love to grab and am expecting him to make a jump next season.

I think we should be on Blake Griffin watch now. Some team (ahem, the Knicks) are going to want to create a discount super team and he feels like a prime target along with Westbrook.

He gives them a good, experienced front court presence (and help for Bagley) with who they can finally try to get to the play-offs maybe?

I know it's not an incredible splash, but what else can a team like SAC wish for. No FA is going there, even rookies don't want to go there (see Luka).

At some point, they have to take what they can and stop dreaming I guess

Thanks fl, appreciate the discretion as always. And yeah don’t get Tyrion’d lol.

In terms of Horford and Buddy, they’ve gotta figure out the line to draw on the picks. I think giving up 21 is fine, after that though I don’t think you can do anything more than some of our better seconds. Fit and age aside Horford is still a better player than Hield. It’d be great if they talked themselves into Zhaire but I’m not holding my breath.

They already have Richaun though. Horford is a better fit next to Bagley, but Richaun was probably a better player than Horford this past season. I hope the Kings see things differently.

Horford + Bagley + Holmes is a nice 3 big rotation. They could also pump and dump on Horford by the trade deadline if they’re not playoff bound.

This deal may depend on if the Kings get who they want at #12. Like maybe they want Nesmith to take Buddy’s spot before pulling the trigger.

Lol that escalated quickly. And like I said, he is gonna try to tank his value to all other teams so the Nets get a heist.
