Ain't trading Ben unless it's Lillard, Beal or Jaylen Brown.

Tobias for a shot creating guard in a heartbeat he's a perfect pump and dumb player.

Would we trade him for Kemba and assets?

Working on variations of that KP to ORL trade that would be a very smart pump and dump OKC-type move for the Magic:

ORL gets KP
DAL gets T.Harris
ATL gets G.Harris and 28
PHI gets Gallinari and Ross

There’s never been a time in history when we look back and say that the people who were censoring free speech were the good guys.

Tobias for CJ is the best and obvious trade.

Simmons then before the deadline.

I like they way Simmons and Embiid compliment each other and we've won slot of games because of it.

Tobias Midrange inside game is not a good fit with are duo. We need to trade him while is value is pumped for a perimeter scoring complement.

What about a s&t for Conley and Bodg? (maybe we add hill to make the money work.

Conley / Maxey / Milton
Green / Curry / Joe
Thybulle / #28
Simmons / Bodg
Embiid / Reed / Howard

Yeah this. Even if we trade Ben, Tobias STILL needs to go. His midrange antics do NOT fit with Embiid.

Hield / Bagley / 9 wouldn’t kill me either as I think we could increase Hields value and by hitting a lot of threes for a winning team as opposed to a losing one. Follow it up with the MLE maybe for patty mikls?

Mills/ Maxey / Milton
Curry / Hield / Joe
Green / Thybulle / #28
Simmons /#9 /Reed
Embiid / Bagley / Howard

Tobias is a pretty bad go-to-guy as go-to-guys come, but he's at least a better option than Hield or Barnes. I don't see how those guys help us more. The starters have been elite in terms of net rating. I don't think either of those guys help with the areas where the team falls apart late in games. They need to get a better playmaker, not worse ones.

[quote="the_process"]From the trade board:

Orlando Trades: Gary Harris, Terrance Ross
Orlando Receives: Kristaps Porzingis

LAC Trade: Marcus Morris, Rajon Rondo
LAC Receive: Gary Harris

DAL Trade: KP
DAL Receives: Tobias Harris

Philly Trades: Tobias Harris
Philly Receives: Terrance Ross, Marcus Morris, Rajon Rondo

Any version of a trade that sends out only Tobias and nets the Sixers Marcus Morris and Ross should be done yesterday. And I’m not even big on Morris twins.[/quote
That’s just crazy is Harris overpaid? Yea.
Is he better than all those players? Absolutely!

Barnes won’t dribble into contested twos, he will simply shoot the open 3, yet still has a much better draw rate than Tobias does. He doesn’t require a ton of touches. And to me he’s a better defender than Tobias, although the stats say the opposite. I chalk that up to the difference between the Sixers and the Kings.

As for a Tobias trade… Tobias and Milton to CHA for Washington and Monk (S&T 4-60)? It’s a massive overpay for Monk based on production to date, yet still saves the Sixers around 17M and takes a chance that Monk has a big leap in him. Also Washington is a nice stretch option next to Jo. Charlotte really feels like a team that would want Tobias.

Let's pretend that Sixers land Dame and it costs us one or both of Maxey and Thybulle.

Should Sixers consider moving Tobias for pieces that individually are lesser than him but together provide greater overall depth?

I'm trying to think of a packages that would bring back ok value while being realistic for the trading team. Not too many options.

Maybe Kings (Barnes/Hield and Bagley); Spurs (DeRozan & White) not sure that's realistic; Mavs (Porzingis) just roll the dice?. Not too many options that I can think of.
