Not really. Anthony Edwards is a hall of famer in the making. It would actually be hilarious if we could get a phenom like that for Simmons and a spare part defensive specialist.

That's a surface level diss that doesn't go beyond them both being Timberwolves.

What made Wiggins so overrated in the beginning was that he didn't pass, make plays defensively, or shoot threes. He was just scoring a bunch of mid-range jumpers and transition dunks.

Edwards' assist numbers and deflection stats are really promising. And he's scaring the crap out of teams from three at a similar rate Korkmaz is.

Edwards is the complete package. He's an Embiid level talent.

I dunno, Edwards is 50 pounds heavier, 10x more athletic, and broke out into stardom two years younger than Shai did (Edwards just turned 20 in August). I love Shai, I think he's an eventual hall of famer, as well. But I see Edwards as an eventual MVP level talent that competes for scoring titles.

I was really high on Edwards pre draft, he will be a superstar no doubt, the ship to get him has sailed though, wolves would trade Towns before trading Edwards.

Honestly, I think the Wolves will be fine if they just stand pat and get a good coach. They have all the talent they need to organically become a contender. They just need to get a reputable coach and tighten up the spare part role players they have.

If they panic and move Towns or Edwards, they'd be fools. I'm hoping that's exactly what they do.

Edwards would be Morey's masterstroke, but if we can get a three team action where Towns pairs up with Zion and Ingram pairs up with Embiid, everyone will be better and happy.

And I still think DeAngelo Russell is really sneaky good and would be a great fit here. His stock is perpetually dumped on because he's a doofus and a bit injury prone, but he's really good.

Maybe they won't trade Ant, but I think it's obvious they have to choose if they're still going to try and win now with KAT or reset and build around Ant.

Getting Edwards along with Maxey on their rookie deals for two more years after this one allows you to do an on the fly rebuild around Embiid and the kids.

DLO is trash, KAT is trash, let Ben go to the Wolves who cares.

Move Antman for Lillard/Ingram/Brown in a 3way.

Their FO is stupid. Blow it up get hardy vets and one younger player that compliments Edwards and ride that until the wheels fall off.

KAT scored 8 points and was giggling like a little schoolgirl to PG.

Once again DLO is trash. He’s the Tobithus of guards. Dimwiddie was the better guard when DLO made his only All Star appearance.

I agree with Tomjas which sucks but we are not getting Edwards if the people at the Wolves have any common sense because if they don’t that org should just quit and afaik lol.

If Towns asked out, I think they would placate him with an Edwards trade. He's one of the very best players in their franchise's history. It would be awful if they had to move him at 26.
