Starting to move up the tankathon board. If he's a second rounder, we need to get him.

If we are between 4-6 in this draft, VJ Edgecombe will hopefully be the guy. I'd love to take Jeremiah Fears, but we're not going to move on from Maxey or McCain. Flagg, Harper, and Bailey will be the top 3 probably. Kasparas Jakucionis is another great option but likely not athletic enough to cover for any kind of defensive deficiencies we see with McCain and Maxey.

Demin has fallen off a cliff. Queen is still a stud, but I'm afraid he's a college stud. He has a weird body type that scares me. I'm out on Tre Johnson.

Since I'm always wrong about them, I rarely give a POV, but international player Noa Essengue looks like someone who will grow into their body and become a force. Moves like a guard but is 6'9 with what appears to be a gigantic wingspan. passable percentages but a force at drawing fouls.

Miles Byrd needs to be a top 15 pick. I don't get why he's projected in the 2nd round.

I'm coming back around on Demin. He has a special skillset and is gigantic. The shot form isn't ugly. I think a team can fix him as a scorer, but he has great feel as a passer.

He’s looking more like Joe Ingles and Nic Batum type to me

Seems like he lacks shot creation. He’s like a Benedict Mathurin with defense to me.

His handle is a bit shaky, but Bennedict Mathurin with elite defense is a top 5 pick imo. I think Mathurin needs to move to a bad team so he can really take off since Haliburton is the guy in Indy. If I'm the Jazz, I'd try to pry him away if I could do it cheaply.

My concern with Edgecombe is that he's like 6'3.5 with shoes on with a 6'5 wingspan. Then I'd drop him considerably on my board.

Not a bad thought though he'd have to get better at shooting quickly.

He's just so remarkably raw that it's hard to gauge. He makes almost zero offensive moves and only looks for the pass.

I really feel like Noa Essengue is going to rocket up boards as we get closer to the draft.

If im Edgecombe, i’d try to improve my ballhandling skills and find a way to slide to the 1 position.

I owe Ace Bailey an apology—he’s really turning the corner, and I think he deserves to be in the conversation for a top-2 pick.

Another big riser is Edgecombe, who, like Bailey, could realistically go anywhere from 2 to 5.

Yes, this draft is top-heavy. Flagg, Harper, Bailey, Edgecombe, and Jakucionis all look like legit top-5 talents.

As far as I'm concerned, there are two #1 picks in this class. Whoever misses out on Cooper Flagg still hits a grandslam with Ace Bailey.

Hey guys the dream of a top pick is over. Who are some prospects we could sneak into the 2nd round to grab?

This team has been so good with later picks that we MUST get back into this draft.

I'm a fan of Mackenzie Mgbako. He can be a Jae Crowder type useful role player in the pros.

Using the Justin Edwards model of targeting a 5 star recruit that had a disappointing freshman season:

- Derrion Reid (Alabama - 6'7" 200)
- Drake Powell (North Carolina - 6'5" 185)

Flagg is on another level than Bailey.

Miles Byrd. Not sure if he's going to be a second rounder much longer though.

Return to Philadelphia 76ers
