I think I'm about to channel Dicky V- so be warned....

This is Awesome babY... A shocker of monumental proportions. Who would have guessed it... looking at these teams... the outcome was just amazing. awesome, spectacular, a Sixer's fan's dream come true...
I always said Ramon Sessions was a PTPer- the diaper dandy, rookie extraordinare hitting the key basket in clutchtime...
And the Raptors and Hawks going for a combined 147 big ones, just spectacular. Who would of thunk it. Way for Josh Smith to step up big down the stretch. Imagine if only he would have gone to college.
Now the Sixers have to keep their heads in the game and take care of business...

...I'm back, and my head hurts. Great news, now we need to shut down those streaking Hawks.

Toronto is not that great. Looking at their schedule - I see only two highly likely wins - Miami and Charlotte. They could lose any of the other games:
Charlotte
@ New Jersey
Milwaukee
New Jersey
@ Detroit
Miami
@ Chicago
I say they go 4 - 3 (losing at Detroit and 2 of these games @ NJ, NJ, Bucks, @ Chicago)

Toronto doesn't have one team that will be playing for anything. Charlotte, Milwaukee, Chicago and Miami are already virtually eliminated. New Jersey will be by the time they play them as well. And Detroit's already resting their starters.

True, but it doesn't mean they'll lay down and give them a win. Bucks don't have anything to play for now and they just beat the Wizards. I agree Toronto's schedule is the easiest, but the way they are playing I don't see all those games as near sure things.

I followed the box score up to halftime and at that point he was 3-8 for 6 points, 0 assists, and 3 boards in 11 minutes on the floor. That also means he scored 13 points and had 3 assists in the second half alone (15 minutes). I think that's a damn good stat line for his first game back. I for one am hoping he opts out this summer.

Unfortunately, I agree with dabods...Toronto's schedule is just too damn easy.
I would think that we have to go 6-1 in these last 7 games to have a realistic shot at the 5 spot which means that two of the following three things have to happen:
1) We sweep the home-and-home with the Hawks;
2) We beat the Pistons here next Wednesday;
3) We beat the Wiz in Washington...
Not impossible, but a pretty tall order...unless Toronto throws in a loss or two like the Wiz's loss last night to the Bucks.

I think Brand coming back and playing this year definitely increases his chances of opting out if he plays well. I seriously hope he does. I do feel if he opts out he's still more likely to stay with the Clippers than switch teams, though.
