Nerlens was never gonna accept a back up role with us. He would have been just as stubborn as he was at the time.

He's talking about the Wizards.

Kobblehead wrote:I had some issues with Fox.

- dainty frame
- jumper wasn't falling, in spite of motion
- thought he was more scoring guard than distributor for most of the season
- thought his defense was overrated

But athletically, he's great and intangibly, he's off the charts. Guys like that tend to make it.

He reminds me of TJ Ford. Guy is able to get to the rim at will but I'm not sure he'll ever be able to develop an outside game. The fit was never going to be there with Simmons so I sort of discounted him early.

Fox at least seems to have a solid midrange shot, which I think is good enough, he has elite quickness which is his elite trait at NBA level, compared to a guy like Josh Jackson who has nothing elite at NBA level, good at some things but that's it, good athlete but not as good as Wiggins, narrow frame, average wingspan, these things limit how good he can be as a defender too.

He reminds me alot of Brown and how the f does he not have elite athleticism? He was arguably the most explosive player of the draft. He'll be a good defender. He can hit the three.

Can someone explain something to me? How is LeBron going to change what he’s been doing for years? He has played PG for years. His role isn’t going to change. I need someone to watch this game and tell me if LeBron plays any different tonight than he has from the rest rest of his career.

LeBron doesn't have the top end speed to play defense at PG. He's always been the PG on offense so no idea what that even means.

For those who said NO to the Gordon-Saric swap last season, Gordon is going to be an all star this year....

It’s great to see Gordon continuing to improve. He always had the talent.

Of course he’s gonna do well, I had them on league pass last year to see him and Vogel ( gotta like Vogel) anyway, it would be nice to see Orlando put something together, they haven’t been right since Howard left, and that 4,5,6 pick area in the lottery is a tough spot.

I know. He’s so archaic and won’t fit in the new NBA. He won’t be able to makes threes. All he takes are long twos. Lol.

Was a great game, but ‘another’?

I guess the 15 pointer against us wasn't huge, per se. He has been playing quite well though.

Evan Turner seems to be on a breakout. Still entertaining to see him play

Was this an actual trade that was going to happen that the 76ers turned down?

It came from Rob Hennigan's big board.

Ok thanks. So we don't really know if it was offered, team A talking to team B, just that it was something that could happen.

Also remember Gordon is playing for a contract this year. So I expect him to ball out. Saric at times looks like a bull in a china shop this year. But the season is still young for both players.

So I watched LeBron last night as PG. Nothing changed. Someone tell me how he played any different than any other time in his career? You can’t. That’s why saying PG or Point Forward doesn’t really matter and I don’t know why people get bent out of shape when people call Simmons a PG. LeBron didn’t get any shorter when he played “point guard” yesterday.

Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum look WAYYY better than I thought they would, at this point.

Return to Philadelphia 76ers
