Same song and dance with the team and Embiid. If the FO is committed to staying the course he needs to be paired with a talent.
Hopefully Harden/Harris gets moved, I really do think it’s Ingram or bust.
We have to find a group of players around him and get them for as value laden as possible. No more suspect deals

Why lol he was brilliant in his only playoff series so far, has gone from one basket case organisation to another so he’d be comfortable here. Discount KD is still a scary player especially in the playoffs when near 7 footers don’t get smaller.
If the deal is right you do it. Great age too.

Why the hell would you move harden. He's been the perfect fit with Embiid. Tobias, shake,Korkmaz, Harrell and niang can go.
Resign Harden, McDaniels,Maxey and Reed.
We need spry athletic ,tough gritty defensive enforcer type players around what works for us .
Harden and Maxey duo is peanut and jelly as far as I'm concerned along with Embiid.
Melton,Tucker,House,Springer ... Has us trending in the right direction in terms of team build.

We'll need Embiid playing at his absolute best for 7 games to beat the Celtics.
We all know where this is headed.
Yeah, I agree. It's probably the worst case scenario and he's cooked for the rest of the season. IF there is any risk to further damage, then I don't think we should even bring him back. Just end the season and build for next year however we can.

Harden has more mileage than pretty much every star player in the league bar James and he doesn’t condition himself well enough not even at an elite level. The Rocket years will just pile up.
We are going to be injury prone with Embiid so no use worrying about that. Ingram has perfect age brackets for peak/prime years.
House/Springer/Tucker are you serious? Your just naming names that will have no impact next year
Harden/Maxey is not a championship winning backcourt imho too small and nowhere near the variation of impact.
Embiid/Ingram froncourt? Now that’s something I can get behind.
... We’ve needed a legit wing for god knows how long now. How much did the Knicks give up to get Hart for example?
Melton is the one to keep, great age, great contract and defensively he’s our on ball defender.
FO needs work in the off season

Re: Joel: unchained.
Joel: chained? We know he hates wearing protective accessories, so he’s not going to like that knee brace. But it sounds to me like that’s what we get on Monday. And I’ll take it. We know PJ will have his back. I expect Doc to max B Ball’s playing time. Otherwise, let’s Max out Maxie’s spacing and hope that Harden’s rested tendon will give him just a little lift.
(Cause they won’t give us any calls while he’s on the floor.)

Always loved Biid and was in favour of building around him instead of Ben but im done with this. Enough is enough.
I sayed at the start of the season that we should trade him while he still holds great value. I wasnt wrong.

Yeah I'm starting to see what you meant, you just can't win with him always being done before r2. What route would you suggest?

Re: Joel: unchained.
I thinks it's time to put a rim protector next to Embiid. There's no one else that can protect the paint and he wants to go after every shot in the playoffs. Im starting to believe his body is not built for that type of load on both ends(being the number 1 option and only rim protector). I think he also needs to drop 10 pounds, defer more offensively and go more Roy Hibbert than Dwight Howard when it comes to rim protection. Maybe that makes him less dominant but if it leads to a healthier, less injury prone Embiid than I'm for it.
Summary : The sixers might need to think about going away from him being the main option and putting a forward beside him to help defensively around the rim.

Playing Embiid and Reed together would be as close to that as you could get with this group, but Glenn has clearly decided that isn't going to happen.

I'm on board with moving on from him too. He'll never be healthy for a full playoff run. Regular season accolades are meaningless. I ready for another process. We could do it much faster with all the good assets we have now.

It's not going to matter who you pair Embid with you. He stays injured in the playoffs. It's what the guy does at this point. Expecting Embid to play a complete playoff series healthy let alone the entire post season is insanity. You won't win a championship this way.

All of you in favour of moving on from a 29 years old MVP without a current significant career threatening injury should quit watching sports.

Yeah, I agree. It's beyond stupid and just a complete overreaction on here to suggest these things before the series has even begun. Before the season is even over. On the eve of winning the MVP award.

Re: Joel: unchained.
Harden has to steal one game of those 2. He has to be disciplined, efficient, and mix some offense with playmaking. There is enough depth, his game with Reed is solid now. Maxey needs to play aggressive too.

Some of us are just tired of the exact same thing happening every year like clockwork, at some point enough is enough. It's not his fault, he is a terrific player, better than Iverson was, but it is what it is, we need to move on because this is not working.
But I also won't blame some fans for wanting to keep trying with Embiid either, maybe next year he has better luck and somehow doesn't get injured who knows...
