cant see us ending up with a top3 pick anymore, unless we get lucky in the lottery. but to answer your question, since both guys can shoot the ball...yes i think it could be successful.

Of course it would be!

That is a possible scenario if we ended up at 1 and 4 even.

I am one of the few dissenters on Monk. I feel his elite shooting and athleticism mask some issues concerning ballhandling, creativity and passing. The argument that he can't show his skills playing with Briscoe and Fox is perhaps a valid one. Still, I like him in the teens, not in the top ten.

Miles Bridges was fantastic last night, and I would take him over Monk. Terrance Ferguson also has that three point shooting plus insane athlete combo, and I'm not sure he wouldn't be shining as well if he were at Kentucky.

Let's say we draft Jackson and Fox. Do you guys think that would be good for us and they would fit? We already have a non shooter in Ben. If we add two more guys who can't shoot in Jackson and Fox it would make us easier to guard. The flip side is that our defense should be improved. I like both players but I would be lying if I said I wouldn't be concerned with the lack of shooting should that scenario play out and we get Jackson and Fox.

Josh Jackson would be ideal in that he could play next ti Simmons and be a secondary ball handler. TLC and Roco could be our 3 and D guys at the guard spots ( or whoever else we draft with the lakers pick)

No one NBA player can guard Fox. It will take a team effort to keep him out of the paint. He's like Tony Parker, a perennial All Star who averaged a made 3 pointer per game during only one season in his career.

I like Fox but saying no one in the NBA can guard him is a little too much for me. He has no jumper. He is quick. I just wish he shot better.

Whatever. Tony Wroten averaged 16.9 ppg and this guy is a better finisher with no turnover problem and better passing ability.

And Tony Wroten wasn't good.

Tony Wroten didn't have enough skills to take advantage of the athletic ability that placed him in great position. He wasn't good and still produced, although inefficiently. Fox doesn't have all of the same weaknesses but shares the strengths.

Lol what kind of logic is that? No wonder you're still a Prokafor.

Prokafor.

Users of that word hate logic.

I want Frank. I mean I want Fultz, but we probably won't have a shot at him, so I want Frank

So you have Frank the second best PG in the draft?

I'm saying he fits our needs more than any other pg in the draft not named Fultz. The guy could be a secondary ball handler to Simmons, has a lot of potential as a shooter, has high bball IQ and has a 7 foot wingspan, at 6'5".

Frank looks like a Jrue Holiday with a 7 ft wingspan, better bball iq and a better jumper. Is that type of player worth a top 5 pick?

If you want a two-way player at the guard spot who can handle the ball, he makes sense for us.

Too many unknowns with Euro prospects, especially guards. Look at the hype Dante Exum had prior to the draft. Would rather take DSJ, Ball, or even Fox

Dante Exum was just raw. He didn't have any basketball skills. He was fast as hell though, so when people saw how tall he was, and saw his length, and athleticism, all they could go on was potential. As a prospect he was intriguing tho because of what he could be 3 years down the road with proper coaching. I wasn't a fan because he couldn't shoot the ball. He's not worth much of anything without the ball in his hands. The guy entered the draft as a project in mind by pretty much everyone so he could still turn out to be something
