Either that, or maybe see if T.O.'s hyperbaric chamber is available.

he reportedly has a ~3-4 week injury at a minimum that we are two weeks into healing. game 2 will barely be any more rest. if he plays he will be limited. your blind optimism seems a bit out of place.

I don’t think there is a “switch” that flips on for when he can play. If he’s capable of playing tonight, but he’s still feeling a little hobbled and doesn’t feel like it’s safe yet, then he could be good by game 2. There’s nuance to injuries. Your black and white interpretation on his health is also misguided.

I don't have a black and white interpretation. I am using reports we have available and guidelines that medical professionals have come up with as a framework to discuss the timeline and severity of his injury. It was reported as "at least grade 2", which at a minimum tends to coincide with the recovery timetable I listed. Do I think that all grade 2 injuries are the same, or that it is impossible to come back from an injury earlier than the timetable listed? No, but I largely trust the rough framework that was laid out by people much more knowledgeable than you or I, which we are unfortunately not that far along into. So I have serious doubts about the likelihood that he is not going to be quite limited when he returns.

I think that you are the one that is coming off as emotionally charged right now.

Sorry for being emotionally charged. I’ll sit out the rest of this conversation and reflect.

I'd play Embiid only after we lose a game. All likelihood that makes it a game 3 return but the further we can extend it somehow the better.

He has to be feeling even more motivated seeing his team fight and win out 1 there without him.

Odd that the same evening that he attains the award that that 16 year old Cameroon could hardly dream of, probably the most important news will be how much or little swelling he experiences after today’s workout. We’re in pretty good shape if he can be back for the first game back in Philly, but how much would it mean if he can safely contribute to game 2?

Still a quarter and a half until the ‘end’ of the game but we know what’s about to happen. Completely done with this loser. Philadelphia reps for Embiid every single chance they get and what does this absolute loser do every time? Chokes. Get this **** jackass off the Sixers.

Sorry. One edit to make it clear. F Joel Embiid.

Joel Embiid is the spiritual successor to Donovan McNabb

Donovan made it to the conference finals and Championship games multiple times though. Joel has not.

Total fraud. Good player, but he'll never get through a finish line. Need to trade him and turn the page while he still has value.

He is a great player but he sucks as a leader. Too fair weather, never takes full responsibilty, and rarely dominates in the big games when it matters the most. Also, he still ins't in the shape he should be. You watch Jokic at the end of games despite looking like he has an average Joe body he is not sucking air at the end of games like Embiid is. There is no reason he can't be ripped like Giannis is. The reason is he eats too much junk food.

Trade Embiid and rebuild again, he is a fraud in playoffs, maybe a team will appreciate how good he is in the Regular Season, let's get real players, there are always gems out there. Let's cut bait on all the career losers for once, we did that with Simmons, time to do that with Embiid.

Im sorry but he just aint him.

He cant lead a team to a championship.

What a shame also toy say he cant win alone after he **** the bed in multiple key moments of the series.

Taytum out played him clearly and showed what a true superstar looks like.
