If Ross fell to 15 and then they traded Iguodala for Al Jefferson, now that would be a good combination of moves.

If we managed to walk out of this draft with both Henson, Ross, and trading Iguodala it will easily be the most exciting draft night as a Sixers fan this decade. I really hope we hold onto both of our second rounders. Would love to see us grab Kevin Jones who would bring a nice project forward who showed GREAT offensive rebounding during his time at WVU.

was told nothing would happen before draft trade wise with GSW

what if someone like barnes or kidd-gilchrist falls to 7...GSW would just take that player. if those guys are gone....then maybe we can make that trade. Also..if Drummond is there at 7. Houston could use their three firsts and and come up and get him at 7. So an Iguodala trade would only happen potentially if barnes and MKG are off the board it seems and houston doesnt beat us to the punch.

How likely is that? thats debateable.

I agree. Adding Henson, Ross, and Wright in exchange for Iggy is a good, productive draft night for the Sixers. Makes them better IMO.

Also, is it really possible that next years Sixers could look like the below?

Jrue/Watson
T. Evans/Meeks
Ross/S. Young
Al Jefferson/Allen/Thad
McGee/Vuc

That's assuming the Iggy Utah deal, the ET for TE straight up, 2nd round pick packaged with 15 to move up for Ross, and Brand's money on McGee. Go to scorers in Evans and Al Jeff (2 guys who can score 20ppg? i don't remember the last time we had that), defense from McGee and Jrue, outside shooting from Ross. I can't say I'd be upset if such was the offseason ahead. But does philly have the stones to pull it all off?

Sixerfan, what is your bud saying about Toronto? In my opinion, if they could add Iggy, Nash & Valanciunis, they would be good, very quickly. Calderon & the 8 is a fair swap.

I have never seen him play. Just read a report that he is an excellent shooter.

I assume this makes him a great fit next to Holiday and Turner.

the deal breaker is they want #15 too

Beginning to think if we dont trade with GSW for Iguodala...he wont be traded on draft night..or at least with draft picks involved on draft night.

I would rather do this then trade up for henson...... If we trade up to #7 then its's either for Drummond or Barnes for me.... If we could get Drummond at #7 and Ross somehow slips to #15 then that would be the perfect night for me.....

and personally i dont even worry about finding a new home for jefferson or biedrins right away....I just take whichever one they prefer and get the deal done.

I think Dorrell Wright and Henson is appropriate for Andre to be honest(and hopefully the contract we talke is somewhat useable in same variation)

I think both are gone before 7 MGK 100% postive he won't be there

Drummond is really a roll of the dice, but to get a guy wih that defensive potential would be nice.

I think if we get the 7 pick we could likely end up getting 2 players who are in the top 10 on our draft board.

I havent heard any talk at all about keeping Turner and Andre together. Front office knows one has to go and Andre seems to be the one. But if we pulled something crazy off and traded Turner for like pick 10-12 or something like that...I guess that would mean Andre stays.(and maybe you grab Ross and Sullinger or Ross and some other big that way)

Yup...beginning to look like we aren't getting two top 15 picks...unless the Warriors REALLY want Iguodala. I would be willing to take Jefferson to make it happen...but the Sixers may not.

SF

If we do somehow go the Waiters route at 7, we would still definitely take Ross at 15 if hes there?
Thatd leave us with Jrue, Evan, Waiters, Ross, RJ, and Wright just at the 1,2and 3. With still no backup PG or any decent big men. I definitely wouldnt oppose it but it would certainly be interesting to see where our big men come from at that point.

Also heard anything about any 2nd round guys were interested in? A guy Id like to look at is Bernard James. I think hed be mid to late 1st round pick except for the fact that hes already 27. Hes averaged 10.8ppg, 8.1rpg, 2.3bpg in 28min in the ACC. Thats pretty decent especially since he shot 60.6% from the field. His FTs need work, but as a shot blocker he could be a great find in the 2nd round. Hes also not very foul prone at only 1.9 per game in those 28 min. Hed be quite a prospect if he was 21-22 instead of 27. Id take a chance on him.

only names i heard were somewhere in this thread. Jenkins, O'Quinn, Machado and Taylor(PG)

And if we grabbed waiters...I think we go big at 15.

I think its either big/small or small/big if we get two picks.
