Wow, somewhat OT, but the Raptors board is arguably more insane than our board with their valuation of Lowry.

It's always pretty funny seeing how active each board is for every team. I'll look at some and they'll have 1 post a day. Look at TOR and they have 7 pages for the Pompey tweet.

Lowry might be the only guy they can get that would legitimately change the ceiling of the team. I'm very much on board with a trade for him and trust Morey with whatever the compensation would be.

I think this is one of those rumors other executives put there to increase the price of a player, so bleh.

But if it's real, i don't think tou can make the deal without putting Maxey and Danny Green out there. More than that price i would be bother by the fact he wants to keep his current price tag thought

We here wanting CJ because we know the importance of a shot making 20ppg scorer and the Blazers dont?

And if Blazers trade CJ for Tobi, what does it accomplish for the Blazers?

The only way CJ lands here is there’s a difference in value system where Blazers opts to rebuild so they’d just ask for expiring, shake and maxey. Or maybe a pick, shake or maxey. Something in that line of thought.

Then what? Play CJ for this season.

By offseason, ship CJ and multiple picks for a bigger upgrade like Beal?

Possible?

..but overall, I think we need to trade Shake. Because I dont think he’s THAT special even if he reverts back to his 15ppg 50-40-90 self.

He’s good. But we need more than shake and he’s more valuable as an asset than the player he is right now and the player he can be IMO. Basically im shorting the stock if Im Morey.

Shake couldn't dribble (in a relative creation sense) when we drafted him. That was an organically developed pleasant surprise.

So I am terrified of trading Maxey and then having him grow while Lowry is a pudgy fossil for us that doesn't really solve any problem lol. However the bench has pretty much single handedly lost us games...and that cannot continue so even my paranoid ass thinks it might be time.

If Lowry wants to be a Sixer so bad, he should negotiate a buyout with Toronto and sign a vet minimum deal. Then we'll think about giving him a 2 year extension in the summer if all goes well.

LOL at trading for a 5'7" overweight 37 year old who is currently injured with a groin issue.

What is the pivot now that Harden is gone? Votes can be changed
