Lots of smoke and chatter around Shai now. Love it. I think he’s gonna be a Sixer.

No one else wants Minnesota's garbage either though.

The top 25 player thing is just posturing with trade partners. All that really matters is whether or not the guy is better than Simmons. I can't think of a single guy that we've been linked to in the rumor mill that wasn't better than Simmons, Hield included. Maybe Wiggins?

You need a hobby, bro

I had one, but your aunt canceled our quilt knitting sessions after I tried to kiss her.

He'd definitely been Glennathon's top choice.

Vassell/Murray will be perfect, IMO. That seems to be the best two team trade that’s realistic.

One guy keeps mentioning DLo, but thankfully no one reputable.

Wiggins is more useful than Simmons though.

Who do you think is the in-between guy between Woj and the NBA front offices? Think about that.

Yeah, when he's shooting like he is now. I don't trust it, though. He's a mid-range player at heart. Harris had stretches in L.A. where he looked like a useful ass mfer, and then he went back to the mid-range where he's comfortable. Wiggins would probably revert back to being bad as soon as he got here.

I don’t think it’s that ridiculous, but it would cost. Simmons+ a big pick package, Simmons to another team for fitting contracts and a pick package.

Okc might think it sensible to side step an SGA trade demand in the future and acknowledge he doesn’t fit their timeline. I don’t think they’d let him go for anything besides a godfather offer and I’m unsure if Morey is willing to offer that. I do think he can be gotten if Philly is willing to pay tho

Simmons is a no-range shooter though, the usefulness of that is near zero.

Agreed. But right now, shooting is Wiggins' only saving grace. He offers no rebounding, no passing, and makes no plays defensively. So if his shooting disappears, he's even less useful than Simmons.

McDermott becomes available the 15th. I know we were reportedly interested in him over the summer.

I wonder how many picks San Antonio would be willing to attach to that package.

I’m on board with this plus McRoberts (required to make a salary match), then package Danny and pieces for a Danny upgrade that can score and defend as a big wing. If Morey also got a pick in that deal for Simmons it would be crazy good.
