A new thread strictly for rosters is cool with me! I'll make it in a few though, about to look for who I'm going to draft.

my 2 choices are:

1. continue with the youthful picks who are still good players right now, but could be REALLY good in another year or 2

or

2. get some vets off the bench to be leaders and solid off the bench so that this team has some leadership to go far in the playoffs

i think the way my starting 5 is set up right now this is a deep playoff team wether there are vets or not.. but the vets would definately solidfy it as so... hmmmm

I am in the same boat with a really young team. I am trying to figure out if I let them grow together and bag the leadership or I get a few vets to show them the way.

Looking to move up from 6(28). Can give that pick plus 8(11) and 10(28) for it.

With the 11th pick in the 6th round, the Miami Heat (KrazySixersD) select...

Image

6'9" 230 lbs. Mike Dunleavy

The heat have bypassed youth to get some veteran help to make this championship run.... we select MIKE DUNLEAVY... he is not old... hes only 31, so he still fits long term. We felt this guy was too perfect of a fit for our team to pass on. He can play SG and SF off the bench, shoots 40% from 3 over the last 2 seasons, very long out on the wing to play some good defense while also spreading the floor.. he has scored in double figures in every season of his career except his rookie year, and one season where he was at 9.9 ppg.. very smart player as well as he is from duke, where that is almost a given.

Lol yea man, he was right after K.M on my board. Doesn't play defense for $hit, but we feel that his facilitating skills & leadership will be key in helping bring home a title to the beautiful city of Charlotte. 8-)

Damn, we were going to grab PG depth here, but Felton and Calderon going put a stop to that, so instead The Boston Celtics select F Luc Mbah a Moute to provide defense and energy to our bench

My boy Luc! Picked him last year as my starting SF. His defense/versatility will make you a very happy person.

I remember you and Kobble arguing for like three pages about whether Mbah a Moute was a good defender, and then he was like "I was just bored, you're right, I agree".

I'm not going to fight over this dude, but we gives us a lock-down defender on the wing and allows us to play Granger a bit at the 4 with some small ball!

I'm picking at 15. I'd probably do that. I like 3 guys here, and unless one or two of them get taken in the next two picks, I'm looking to move back a bit. Let me know if you want to do it when I'm on the clock.
