Trying to stay positive. His post could be in reference to Noel trade.

He was never playing this season lol. I don't know why people thought he was coming back halfway through the year. The tank is real. If they get two top 4 picks they're going to be all set and that's what the goal should be.

I've been his biggest supporter, defending him and his, imo, generational talent to all the haters on my board and elsewhere. But this is so glaringly obvious his decision it's pathetic. He and his agent decided this soon after the injury. It even leaked to the media. But people wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt or put the blame on the team instead. Sorry but the team has actually been taking bullets to protect this kid lest the fans turned on him. He's even acted like he can't wait to go out there and play but he never had any plans on playing this year. This knocks Simmons down a peg for me. This isn't how a generational talent acts. This isn't alpha. He's a fraud. I know so many of you are going to be apologists and actually buy the company line that his CT scan came back bad....please don't. It's embarrassing how fanboys get with their idols. He's a punk. He led you on and let you down. He very well might be a great player someday. But the stink of this will never wash off. He reminds me of Alex Rodriguez. Great talent...crap person and competitor. Sorry for your loss guys. I really am. I so badly wanted the process to work out so we could have our rivalry back as we both load up with young prospects. This dude is going to leave PHI the very first opportunity he gets. I promise you. He's all about the image and bling. I'm guessing NY or LA as soon as he can force his way out. You better hope LAL doesn't get top 3 so you can take two studs to pair up with Embid and trade this waste.

Wow. How dare he choose to have a bad scan? Boy he really willed that to happen.

I don't think Simmons is coming back this season. I can understand the organization wanting Simmons' fractured foot to completely heal and have that 5th metatarsal just as strong as before he starts doing high impact work in games.

Your suspicions are not far-fetched. Ben definitely embodies a walking brand. He's being groomed like that by Klutch. Still think him eventually bolting the #4 market for the #1 or #2 market fear is a bit much. Philly is a goldmine for a star athlete.

Simmons is dying to get back out there. Not everything has to be a conspiracy theory. The team wants him out there to get a look at him with the team/Embiid.

We just have an incompetent medical staff that has issues with pretty much every injury. Embiid didn't heal on time, Bayless somehow went from a sore wrist to needing surgery, Okafor missed 25 years with a meniscus tear, and now Simmons. It's just par the course with this medical staff. It's either cursed or incompetent. Either way they gotta go.

This is for the best, like I've been saying all along. All of you who claim to Trust the Process, yet you want him to play 20 meaningless games this year. I ask again... for who? for what?

Now we're going to finish this the right way. Tank strong into the close with Jah leading the way. You won't be crying anymore when we get Lonzo Ball, Josh Jackson, or Markelle Fultz because of this.

  You are coming across more as a Boston fan that is cut up that the 76ers are tanking again.

Absolutely no evidence he had anything to do with it. Even his sister (Not the one that works for Klutch.. the one he is closest too) said it is all rubbish. Even the claims he wanted to go to the Lakers she said were rubbish and that he actually wanted to go to Philly after meeting with them.

Lets just keep pretending though that it was all Simmons ego.

Our #1 pick's foot not healing properly is not a good thing.

Btw the Process was Hinkie, what Colangelo has done is some sort of wack gluten free knock off.

F this organisation - as a confessed Simmons/ Philly bandwagoner (foreigner) I am know forgeting this crap show and jumping back on the Lebron bandwagon to ride out this season.
Personally i'm sorry for the 76ers fans that they have to keep putting up with this blatant tank crap - hope 1 day the team is allowed to play up to its potential.

Apparently Rich Paul already stuck a knife in there to create another fracture... so he can sit out the rest of this year... and then win the Rookie of the Year next year. According to the conspiracy theorists anyway.

Yeah if he's really still injured, that's an issue. However if we're tanking, I'm all aboard.

You basically **** on him but call yourself his biggest supporter? Maybe you should go back to the C's board and talk about Jimmy Butler and Paul George trade rumors for the offseason. Or talk about Kelly Olynk's hair.

Return to Philadelphia 76ers
