Also proud of De'Aaron Fox. Sticking it out with the Kings and looking great in Game 1 win.

Towns and Fox could have very easily tried to get out of the crappy franchises they were drafted to. But they stuck it out and are now in the dance, playing well.

And how about Malik Monk? That guy was a punching bag in Charlotte (even getting sonned by Jordan on live TV at one point).

I expect Towns to crap the bed against Nuggets, of course hope I'm wrong though...

Maybe late to the game, but this Mavericks tanking fine news should be good.

Very interested to see how RealGM GB posters react. Will they shrug and forget about it in a week for good, or hate the Mavericks for the next 10 years like us?

Giannis out for the rest of the game against Miami. Game just got more interesting.

Certainly the latter. Same with Giannis getting a pass for not playing in pain in a playoff game.

Please.

I'd make the change right now if we could.

He’s mostly above average to probably good, but not great. He just gets too attached to his philosophy and assets.

What good is all that length when they’re most inconsistent shooters?

Most superstars can hunt your 1&5 and you can’t win if you play wings on your 1&5 positions.

I think this blueprint of the Sixers is quite good. 1-5 superstars with another guard as 3rd option then surrounded by elite spot up shooters who are decent on defense.

And honestly if teams can see this, teams like the Nets, Raps and Wolves can make big leaps by trading these valuable lengthy wings then converting it to alpha scorers or upgrading their current alpha scorers while also converting these lengthy wings into elite spot up shooters with decent defenders

Just a reminder there were people on this forum that said they’d rather play the Heat than the Nets in the first round.

There's no shot of Nurse coming here. If we're lucky enough to be rid of Glenn after this season it will be one of the assistants or MDA. But I've resigned myself to the fact we are stuck with Glenn.

How do you rank Nurse, Udoka, Cassell, and MDA? For me:

1. Cassell
2. Nurse
3. Udoka
4. MDA

I'd agree with that except that Cassell is at this point an unknown as a head coach.

For which team?

Rebuilding or a PG lead team? cassell
Defensive or Wing lead team? Nurse or Udoka
Team with superstar scorers? MDA

Nurse is the only one on that list to win a title so it’s hard to put Cassell over him. Not sure why things went so sour in Toronto but I think he’s a very good HC.

To me it’s:
1. Nurse
2. Cassell (unknown as a HC)
3. Udoka (unknown for a very different reason)
4. MDA
