I think PHI should've sold high on Embiid at the deadline and kept Noel.

If you want to win championships, this is the price you pay.

1) must maximize chance to get a third star in this draft - chance won't come around again unless extremely lucky with LA or Sac future picks.

2) Try to build up Okafors trade value.

Look at all this with tank in mind as the FO objective.

I guess this is good? Question is who do we want for these picks? I want Lonzo Ball the most but do we want to deal with his nut ass Pop's popping off at the mouth all day?

We might be a good situation for Lonzo Ball. He gets to put 3,000 miles between himself and his father.

Josh Jackson for me. For the sick chance Embiid is never healthy...stacking up on perimeter defenders is key

Fultz or Jackson. Those are the only two building blocks I see in this draft the rest are high complimentary guys.

We kinda expected this. The only question left is, will he require surgery and is it really serious if his knee keeps swelling up?

Only thing is where do we place him? Saric is obviously the starting PF going forward, so Ben is gonna play SF (is Point really an option?)

I'm a little confused why this is such an issue now. This will not be okay in the coming years, but this year it's completely fine with me. No Simmons this year? Screw it, hold Embiid out too.

The tweet is regarding Bayless.

Jerryd Bayless (left wrist) is scheduled to have his cast removed next week, at which point he'll begin rehab

Jackson can play the 2.

Saric probably is best off the bench longterm anyway tho. I love what Saric is doing but you don't pass up on Jackson for his or Covington's needs.

Yeah it's about Jerryd Bayless. Who cares?

Let's focus on Embiid and Simmons here lol.

I agree completely. However, we are afraid that this is a sign of things to come in the future given his history. If they are just being overly cautious and would rather solve an issue early on that's fine. But it might indicate a career plagued with injuries.

Bayless better outsource his rehab like noel did staying down in Bama if he ever wants to play basketball again.

Not keeping Noel as Embiid insurance for at least another year was asinine, not to mention the lousy return

it is no guarantee we drop to the bottom 5. I think they will still keep winning games while the Lakers, Phoenix are trying their hardest to stay in the bottom 2-3 as much as possible.

This will be unpopular, but I'll be the one to say it anyway.

I love Embiid, he's my favorite Sixer since Iverson and I wanted them to draft him since day one. And I'm not saying it'll ever come to this, I hope the hell it doesn't, but if Embiid is a player who needs minutes restrictions for his entire career to stay healthy and can't play back to backs and such, then eventually he will need to be traded. I hope to hell he's a guy who can play 36+ a night and can play every game, but if eventually it's determined he isn't, then he needs to go. You can't win titles with your best player being a guy making max money and is limited in how much or often he can play. It'll never work.

In the playoffs your rotations shorten up, and starters get extra minutes. If Embiid can't handle that then it's time to move on.

I hope it never comes to that, but it's something to keep in mind.
