I'm glad people are pivoting off of 30+ year old munchkins on franchise-killing contracts. We can actually build a future with these newly minted max guys. And still have picks to build our team even further.

We have a 2 year window with Embiid as he’s on a supermax in 2023

Go all in now or forget about it

Fox is not it buddy. A better player than Simmons offensively, but still a **** ft shooter, and not great at spacing the floor., We would still need to get someone else. Just get Dame, your obsession with refuting Dame's value is hilarious. Now if Fox is available and Dame isn't thats different.

Fox shot 72% from the line at 7.2 attempts per game. If that's **** I'll take ****. He's not a good 3p shooter but he's a willing one. There's nothing broken about his mechanics that he can't improve his shot. He'll also be more judicious and get better shots with Embiid.

As I said he's not the worst choice, but to prop him up over Lillard was hilarious. It was mainly referring to Kobbles post. Still that FT percentage needs to get into the upper 70s. He'll never be a great 3 point shooter, but may become league average. There are better pairings with Jo than fox. Let's not forget he averaged 25 and 7. Not real reason for Sacramento to do this deal.

It's draft night, the phone rings it's Cleveland with an offer:

Sexton & 3rd overall for Ben.

Your response is? Do you ask for more?

If Cleveland holds firm?

If to get more 1st rnd picks or swaps requires taking on Love, you say?

If they offer Sexton, Love and the 3 it’s an easy yes.

yeah you do it.

I'm not even that high on Sexton. 3 gives you a shot at a Jalen or your could use Mobley to get a guy.

Don't see why the Cavs do it unless Rich Paul wants to pair up Ben with Garland.

I could see Cavs considering it. Garland and Sexton are a micro-backcourt. Ben would fit well with Garland and it gives them a defender on the perimeter. Plus Cavs may want to "accelerate" their rebuild. I'd even consider taking on Love if it meant gaining another asset (pick swap) so Cavs could have cap space to got star hunting.

Yeah, the value is in the 3rd overall pick which at this point is pretty good for a busted 1st overall pick now into his max extension and who hasn't progressed offensively in over 5 yrs in the league.

Fans with no clue say bust, GMs and coaches and all-nba voters don't. And he's played 4 years not 5.

I’d consider Sexton, Love and #3, but Sexton is a bit of a ball stopping nightmare - need to be confident he can facilitate and share the ball as well as score.

Harris, Shake and 28 th pick for Love and Sexton.

Philly gets a 25 ppg scorer. Love is the best stretch 4/5 back up you could ask for.

Cavs get a stable veteran scorer.

76ers resign Green, Howard and pick up Otto Porter.

Embiid/ Howard / Reid
Simmons / Love
Porter / Thybulle
Green/ Curry / Joe
Sexton / Maxey

I like the thought process but it needs to be followed up with Simmons leaving. He cannot be back next season.

yes yes yes. So clearly yes. Why couldn't we just then offer 3 with a bunch of other stuff to OKC for SGA? They love picks and missed out on the top 3 this year.

Then we have

Sexton
SGA
Green
Tobias
Embiid

That's legit

I'd move Tobias in this scenario , and I love Tobias. We could get another great piece and cap relief to fill a couple bench spots maybe?
