Frank Jackson would look so damn good next to Simmons, if the Lakers pick gets a bit better, still believe they will end up as a bottom 10 team, you could get both Jackson and roll with a lineup of Jackson-Jackson-Covington-Simmons-Embiid, that's damn crazy on both sides.

Not sold on yet, but intrigued by Frank Jackson.

Agreed Frank would be a great fit next to Simmons. Simmons can be the primary play maker especially the first couple years as Frank learns and improves that skill, but Frank can be a hell of a scorer from day one and can defend 1s.

Frank Jackson looks good. I like Malik Monk a lot too.

There are so many players that could rise up draft boards this year with good seasons.

We need Markelle Fultz and Frank Jackson. 2017 rotation:

PG Jackson / Bayless
SG Fultz / Stauskas
SF Covington
PF Simmons / Saric
CE Embiid / Okafor

Looks pretty good to me.

I'm hoping for Simmons to be a SF on defense so it can be Simmons/Saric/Embiid. Throw in a Malik Monk + another athletic shooter and we are in business.

I wouldn't be interested in Monk or Jackson if the Sixers didn't have Simmons. Also, I've been thoroughly impressed by Fox. His quickness is unreal, his legs look like a flutter in the open court, and he uses his speed/length well defensively. Very Iverson-esque. Hasn't hit a 3 yet, but is 21/21 from the line, which is a better indicator of shooting ability anyway. His ceiling is pretty high.

I love Fox, but he doesn't make sense with Simmons. Neither does Briscoe. Monk looks like the ideal player to play with Simmons.

Monk is just spamming jumpers from the college 3. Does he get to the line? Does he defend? Can he rebound/pass? Does he have NBA length or athleticism? The only thing he does better than Fox is shoot 3's.

If you watch just Michigan State, then you'll come to these decisions. Monk is a freak athlete. I guess we'll see how he is as a college basketball defender since we are 2 games in. He made a couple of great passes in the first game, but he's not playing the ball dominant wing that Briscoe and Fox are. Everyone has a role on Calipari's teams.

I've watched all of Kentucky's games. Monk is a great leaper, but is average to below average in NBA quickness. He is yet to take his man off the dribble, or take the ball coast to coast. This is reflected by his 5 total free throw attempts in 3 games, compared to the 21 of Fox. He is also a huge negative defensively, with a DBPM of -2.4 compared to Fox's -0.9. He's basically a shorter Jamal Murray.

Okay. I'll reserve judgement for later in the season when he has more games under his belt. I personally think he has impressive athleticism, quickness included.

I blame Chriss/Murray... They weren't supposed to declare. We are an IMA team without Fultz.

seems like fultz has to do a lot of creating, especially for the huskies frontcourt. fultz automatically transforms the team as soon as he steps on the court. already has 4 assists, along with 13 points with 6 minutes to go in the 1st half
