2/11 from three, found different ways to beat Markus Howard. He's just dominant.

Powell going up against Kamar Baldwin should be a good test for him.

Not his most efficient 29 points, but he got Seton Hall the win. I’ve never seen a guy have to work as hard as he does to get open looks.

Baylor's Jared Butler impresses me each time I check in on him. If they keep winning games and play late into March, I think he goes 1st round.

Thunder 2.5 games back from pick #21. Hope they keep CP3, Gallo, and Adams through the deadline.

Getting a 1st rounder this year would be a pleasant surprise.

Thybulle was the best perimeter defensive prospect in NBA history.

Where does Paul Reed fit in regards to PF defense?

This guy might legitimately be able to guard PG-SG-SF-PF at a high level and play smallball 5. I'm watching this guy defend on the ball in certain instances. At 6'9" 225.

Obi Toppin would be such a nasty late first for us.

It feels like nobody is snatching the #1 spot like they have in years passed.

Anthony Edwards looks like the best player, but he's had some crappy games against good competition and his team has been a trainwreck in conference play.

This would never happen, but I wish this group of star freshmen stayed for their sophomore years so they became winning basketball players.

I'm just hoping we can get an assassin, three level scorer on offense. I'm just not going to hold my breath though.

Yeah, unfortunately it feels like Brett and them are more likely to take a Tre Jones than they are Howard/Harding/Powell.

Thoughts on Temple's Quinton Rose?

Image

- 6'8" 190 pound SG
- can score a little bit
- can pass a little bit
- excellent point of attack defense
- experienced, 3 year starter

Seems like a good mix between a guy this front office would target and a guy the fans could actually get somewhat excited for.

I don't really think Brett is going to be a longterm option if we don't make it out of the East, so...

bad day yesterday for okc20(x20) pick watch, currently at #18. thunder need to pass the rockets, dallas and the celtics (or the sixers):

houston beat the jazz on the road, 126-117
okc lost to dallas at home, 97-107
miami beat orlando at home, 113-92

tonight's relevant matchups:

golden state v. sixers
boston v. miami
dallas v. phoenix

me likey. still watching, but very intrigued. perfect fit if the sixers resolve the backup pg issue this february
derrick rose, matisse thybulle, furkan korkmaz, paul reed, kyle oquinn

i dont know that marial shayock can't be the chucker we need. in any case, i'd prefer to get guards deeper in the second round. uncommon length and athleticism should be a priority in the back of the first, early second is how i would typically play it. wanted nicolas claxton as a project last year. reed may be my favorite target this year. maybe.

I've spent three and a half years checking back up on him to see if he's fixed his shot yet and he just hasn't. If anything, he's regressed (except for FTs). That alone scares me off from him.

Don't like him. Reminds me of a shorter Ty Jerome. Or a lesser athletic version of Kris Dunn. Good point of attack defense, passable shooting profile, good passer. Can't score, though, so how much longterm relevance can he possibly have?

As mentioned earlier, Hollinger likes him, but that like is in the context of this draft. In other words, I think your take on him is fairly accurate and Hollinger would agree with you.

Looks like its been a good year to avoid watching college bball, as I have done. It's apparently a historically bad one.
