In due time, he will show why he’s the best player of his draft

Kobblehead wrote:Mitchell is weak defensively when he isn't guarding the point of attack. Maybe this Conley addition wasn't that great, afterall.

They could use a F-sized distributor and keep running Mitchell at PG.

Isn't that kinda what Ingles is?

Ingles has the skillset, but not the talent level I'm talking about. I'm talking about someone at Mike Conley's level. Ironically, Gordon Hayward would be the perfect F to play with Donovan Mitchell.

Imagine not taking Luka #1 or #2 in the draft.

Now imagine having him land in your lap at #3, and then trading him.

The Sixers had some bad misses, but passing on a 19 year old Euroleague MVP is egregious. At least the Hawks got Trae out of it.

Millsap is important for the Nuggets defense but I feel like they need to look into trading his expiring and a few of their young guys for a star. Not sure who that is though unless they are a lot higher on Love than I am (they tried to trade for him before IIRC).

Right now they’re really deep but come playoff time they’re gonna have like 4 good NBA players riding pine.

yes pj washigton. congrats to his supporters. but also devonte graham, dwayne bacon!
mediocre opener for satoransky. lauri markkanen! dunn doing dunn things (4stls, suspect shooting/scoring). arcidiacono getting burn. luke kornet played over daniel gafford
markelle doing markelle things. relatively poor games from aaron gordon and jonathan isaac. didn't watch garland and sexton enough. love cedi-ced.
kendrick nunn got the start?! full on rebuild in miami. wondering whether dion, jimmy, kelly olynyk and james johnson are in fullout revolt. doesnt help their case that the heat won anyway.
should the wizards and knicks have even been close? bonga, hachimura, barrett all did well. i was so wrong about dennis smith jr. so wrong. at least dejounte murray continues to make me smile. welcome back. no burn for lonnie walker?
phx tanked and accummulated a bunch of talent 2 through 4. adding a real nba pg makes it go.
dedmon was quite unimpactful for the kings. expected a little better from fox.
doesnt seem like bazemore, hood and hezonja are much different than evan turner, mo harkless and al farouq aminu.
paul millsap was 0-4 inside the arc, but then had 3 steals and 2 blocks. how? no minutes for michael porter jr. i see pj dozier landed on their rosters; wonder what my man john beckett jr can do with that.
expected more from zach collins in 31min. 8pts, 5rebs, 2blcks, 2to.

Jokic gets 3 fouls early in the 1st quarter. Sits out the rest of the first half. Portland builds a significant lead. Jokic comes back in the 3rd. Casually goes 3/5 from 3 and punks Whiteside. Finishes with 20-13-4 in 24 mins and the W. Jokic just doing Jokic things.

Denver as currently constructed is never gonna go anywhere in the playoffs. The ultimate fraud team. This is a star driven league and they only have 1.

What’s the word on why Butler sat out the Heat opener?

Jimmy is the ultimate flake. No surprise he's already being flakey.

Are Rockets fans boycotting the team or something?

It's opening night for them against the Bucks and nobody is in the arena.

Harden and Westbrook heated discussion with each other. That didn't take long lol.
