I don’t get the fascination of Ben still handling the ball in the half court. That ship has sailed he literally cannot run an offense. The quicker they get him used to being a PF on offense the better. And if he won’t do it, we need to get Harden in here.
always a jump shot away.

Not really. If he is taking 3's, he is dramatically increasing his value and isn't an asset we would give up.

I think you have to consider going Maxey/Shake/Simmons/Harris/Embiid just to see.

I would rather that Simmons continues to shoot as much as possible, doesn't matter if it goes in. Just keep shooting the ball young buck, long term it will lead to our teams success. Doesn't matter about short term.

Maxey/Shake/Ben should be a trio. Ben/Howard feel like the only guys who are capable of finishing alley oops on this team and Maxey/Shake are great at throwing them in the PnR. Ben just needs to get off ball in the half court.

I rather keep the spacing with Green and let Maxey give the second unit energy imo

If the bench makes a run to start the 3rd, you can always pivot back to the starters.

Needed 15 shots though.

Who cares? Efficiency is not the end-all, be-all. Efficiency is actually incredibly overrated based on the pedestal you're seemingly putting it on.

LeVert has 18 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists (1 turnover) in 16 minutes of play and is a game high +21.

Acknowledge.

Gotta love the overreacting to a road end of a b2b against a rested team

Is 18 PTS on 15 shots not a chucker? Pretty chuckerish.

I get what you're saying, but it's a Kyrie-less, Durant-less game an hour and a half north of Philly with no crowd. These are games we should close out if we want to get a good seed and make any kind of noise in the playoffs.

They scored 141 last night on 60% from the floor. They are not that good of an offensive team. A let down was predictable.

Its not like he's shooting 25% from the field. He's 7 of 15. Also, no Durant, no Irving, no Dinwiddie. Do you want him to sit back passive and efficient and not attack?

Levert has been fine, and agreed someone has to take the shots. It's just not anything to write home about at this point. He ends up with like 40 on 25 shots, then the gushing is more justified. JMO.

I don't care how many points he scores or at what efficiency. If he continues to be the best player on the floor against the team with the best record in the league while his Nets are literally left talentless in the game, that's impressive.
