Doc singlehandedly lost us this one...well with an assist from the FO

however the fake comeback gave me enough fuel for mvp trolling purposes so its not all bad I guess.

Yeah, that game didn't help Jokic at all, triple-double and all.

Also, Springer should be playing over Shake, there i said it.

Maxey outscored Jokic.
Embiid showed how valuable he is.

you know what....

I'm thankful for Doc.

I started this game super pissed and buttmad...but now I am not.

Because I have a target for all of the things wrong in my life.....Doc Rivers. My jaw isn't in pain because of the dentist....its because Doc Rivers. My computer isn't probably dying....its Doc Rivers.

Thanks Doc.

Also, that game clearly showed me we're gonna lose 1 or 2 games of a series thanks to doc and that could be the nail on the coffing against the Bucks/Celtics.

My god what a bad coached game.

Danny on Trae
Benching Maxey and Shake when Ben was in his head
Jordan over Reed without Biid
Keeping Biid in a game that was over so Siakam can him him with the shoryuken

Just constant **** ups that seem small but do enough that teams begin to feel themselves enough to take a game. People chock it up to circumstance or "its just the regular season" but nah...this is who he is.

The entire rotation was just weird tonight, he played Dedmon at the beginning of both halves and never brought him back. Playing small against Jokic was what killed us in the third (other than Melton totally colapsing), i love Niang but you cannot play him with Tucker, especially against Jokic, if you're gonna play small with Tucker put House there to cover your wing defense

The Nuggets were switching and getting Maxey to cover Gordon or Jokic on the paint and he never adjusted.

Punishing Reed on the 4th when he by himself kept the game alive in the third was super weird. And playing Tobias as a 5 by desperation was just the ice on the cake.

Shake and Niang have been mostly terrible of late, this is a major worry with the playoffs ahead. House can take Niang’s minutes if needed, but Shake’s lack of aggression and athleticism is making the guard rotation weak as hell.

Niang depends on his shots and shooters have those stretches because of variance, it could be bad if it's on the playoffs? of course, but it's what happens with shooters, Niang in particular looks awful if his shot isn't falling. But even then, his gravity still stretches the floor and gives us great spacing

Shake on the other hand is a bad passer with tunnel vision that becomes horrible if he misses 2 shots on a row because his confidence hits the floor. For moments today, it looked like he was avoiding giving the ball to Maxey on purpose.

So glad this is the last season he plays here

Desmond looks horrendous. Say it’s an injury and release him, sign Tony Bradley for the big body they allegedly need at times. Desmond is a great guy, but he looks so done.

I just hope Doc doesn't get a burning wish to play Dedmon's corpse...

If Doc had started Reed we would have won that game /s ... 7-7 from the field. 9 rebounds and 1 assist, in 17 minutes. Good for you Paul.

I've advocated for Shake in the past but this guy is so inconstant. 0-7 in 22 minutes for a total of 2 points come on Shake you are fast approaching PJ Tucker territory.

I've listened to quite a few other teams broadcast this year. This Denver announcing team I find to be very annoying. And what's the deal with the bench going crazy for every dunk. Every dunk ?

I think Doc and most of the players went into this game thinking this is going to be a loss. Reed and Maxey were like we are here to play and win. When Doc realized there was actually a chance to win, he could not make adjustments or figure out what was going on in time to make a difference.

It's puzzling to me because he's not big but his frame is solid and you can tell he put in work on his strength. Maybe he's just naturally a weakling?..

It's his 3rd season he is going to get better.

Embiid got kicked in the calf and was legitimately hobbled by it. What if he played and the calf injury turned into something else. Achilles heel strain or worse. People would be killing him about putting his individual needs, MVP award, over the team needs of being healthy for the playoffs.

3 years in a row not playing in Denver, come on man let's stop with this BS, he also said "I'm gonna need rest soon", but no problem playing back to back on the road? even if he had no calf issue before the Suns game, knowing him, he would've liked to be in top form against Nuggets in Denver to perform as best as possible in that game, don't you think? if he had the intention of playing against Nuggets in Denver, he would've 100% skipped the game against Suns.

Do you realize that generally the game in Denver is during the 2nd half of the season? It's when he load manages or gets injured. You're making something out of nothing.
