Batum looks like he ain’t tryna come. Might as well move House & Batum for him. They probably would want a first tho. Is a 34 yr old worth a first? Is he that much better then Marcus Morris?

Huh? I know it’s for the Pistons, but Bogdanovic is still averaging 20 a game. Not sure Morris could average 20 in the G League at this point. Not remotely comparable players.
Not saying Bogdanovic is great by any means, but players that can shoot 40% on 7+ 3’s a game don’t grow on trees. And I think the shots would only get easier playing with Embiid and Maxey.

Marcus Morris avg 11 off the bench taking less shots. He has always been solid offense off the bench. To say he couldn’t score 20 in g-league is a little wild lol. He could score at least 15-17 if he started on a bad Detroit team.

I’m not debating whether Bogs is the better player, he is. I’m asking is the upgrade from Morris to Bogs worth a first round pick because i don’t see why Detroit would trade him to us for anything less. If it only took 2nd rounders, Id do it in a heart beat. But for a 1st rounder, he would need to give me 32 mins a night in the starting lineup. And not get abused on the defensive end. I haven’t exactly watching him play since he left Utah so maybe he is capable.

Good shooter and good passer. Very cerebral player.

Detroit has plenty of PGs on their roster (Killian Hayes, Jaden Ivey, Marcus Sasser). Morris is basically a walking future 2nd for them.

Ivey's gotten benched - I think there's some bad blood b/w him and Monty Williams. He'd be a great pickup around the deadline.

Not moved by him. Undersized, doesn't shoot on volume, average passer, below average defender.

The only real positive is that he'd be cheap to acquire and expires at the end of the year.

Heavy '20-'21 George Hill vibes.

Off topic but I would be absolutely livid if I were a Pistons fan watching Monty Williams get paid $15M per year to play Killian Hayes over Jaden Ivey. At least he’s starting to play Sasser big minutes, who is a great compliment to Cade.

Ivey is probably best served as being a super 6th man quite frankly.

Just saying, tonight Mikal Bridges had 38 pts 5 rebounds and 4 assists in 31 minutes on an uninspired team with no hope against the Bucks.

I know everyone loves Mark, but Bridges fits better as he can keep a fast pace as this team looks so good doing. I think Mark slows the team down.

tbh the Grizzlies offered 4 FRP for him last year at the deadline and it got rejected. I'm not even sure as a target he falls under the bracket of realism.

He's a bit overrated as a defender imo, he's too skinny to mark the Tatum/Luka/Giannis' of the world (unlike an OG can). He's much more comfortable on the ball than an OG is though. Decent secondary halfcourt shot creator after your Booker/Paul, Embiid/Maxey. I would say Tobias tier, but he's a much smarter basketball player and his shooting doesn't fall apart under pressure.

Your assessment is pretty spot on. Was hoping his price dropped a bit since then as even folks here doubted his worth.

Bridges would be great, but the price tag is too high. BKN does not want to trade Bridges, whereas UTA should be interested in dealing Lauri because they need to bottom out.

Would you do Morris, Korkmaz, and that 26 OKC/HOU/LAC 1st for Wiseman and Hayes? While maybe not great right now, if Nurse could turn those two even into rotation pieces, that could end up a steal. Seems like a worthwhile gamble. It’s certainly far more interesting than Siakam, whom doesn’t fit here and should be avoided.

Absolutely not for me, I’d maybe give up a 2nd or two for them but definitely not blowing a 1st on a C who can’t crack Detroits rotation & a PG who shoots 27% from 3 for his career.

They are interesting reclamation projects but I would give them basically nothing for those two.

Sixers can’t afford Bridges as they have allegedly already knocked back 4-5 1sts for him

I wonder if maybe UTA would be interested in Towns?

MIN gets Harris, 2 1sts from Philly, and 4 2nds from Philly
PHI gets Mark Cannon ( ) and Olynyk
UTA gets Towns and a 1st from Philly

We agree BKN does not want to trade Bridges. Cam, however, could be interesting.

Thomas or Johnson?

The former is virtually impossible as he’s on a very cheap contract

If it was up to me, I would look at Johnson and Din for Tobias, Furkan and every pick you have

You’d be favourites and we would be set up for the future

Having said that, I would rather poke my eyes out than watch Tobias play a minute for us & the Nets would never do it anyway

Return to Philadelphia 76ers
