I've had a strict don't crap on other prospects policy. But I did spit out my water reading this

I love all the “I just can’t see a world where Ace busts” talk after suffering through the Fultz predraft conversations. Just hilarious to me. VJ could certainly bust, but Ace ABSOLUTELY could bust lmao. He has uniquely bad statistical indicators.

I just don't see it. Ace's floor is a Kelly Oubre that can shoot. Median outcome is an MPJ or Rashard Lewis. Ceiling is Tatum or PG.

Meanwhile VJ's floor is Zhaire Smith.

I guess I want Ace at this point. Might as well take a swing with the pick. VJ just means our organization thinks we can still win with this group -_-

Even Kelly oubre that can shoot is a borderline star.

I think of it as like Jabari Smith. Guys that can shoot and defend multiple positions with great length damn near can't bust. That's one of the most prized things you can get in the league.

McDaniels was a top pick and he's basically a recent three (Ace probably a better shooter right now)and D Star. Nobody sees him as even close to a bust. Jabari Smith is about to get an opportunity to prove that he's a 20-30 million dollar player, and He needs to get better at shooting.

I'm not even taking into account if he actually develops handles the way Paul George ended up doing.... Then he's all NBA.

Also I would argue with people who say that guys can't develop handles as easily as other skills. Those times have come and gone I can prove that with just a few players who have been given that opportunity to truly develop. The reason those times are gone is because of the positionless game that's being coached... Especially if you're seen as a focal point. Hell Joel Embiid, is an example. Tatum was further along than Ace for sure, but you would've thought it wouldn't get this good...that guys handles now are crazy. Jaylen Brown for sure...

Hoping for Tre. Defense is for poor people.
They say an analytics man doesn't have a heart, but I ran the numbers and nothing can be further from the truth - Sam Hinkie probably

What does this mean? I can also say Ace’s floor is Emoni Bates and VJ’s floor is taller Melton with better passing and rim pressure. None of that means anything other than to take down one prospect while pumping another.

My point was that none of the guys in our range is bust-proof.

I hope VJ starts painting his nails after we take him. We need another dumb level of hate for him.

Agreed. Taking ssaman at 3 is Morey trying to plug younger Melton back into the starting lineup.

It didn't work the first time. It won't work the second time.

Stop overrating your players and get a new algorithm.

Curious that Dallas and San Antonio aren’t contemplating taking Ace since he’s a guaranteed All-Star wing.

Bodner says that ownership is not okay with trading down per a cbs report?

I agree Morey should pick his guy

Spurs need a wing and a 5. They aren't even sniffing around Ace. Makes one think, if one could think.
