I don’t see any way the Cavs offer Sexton, Love, and 3. Plus the optimal pairing is Sexton with Simmons IMO.

Three way trade:

CLE gets Simmons
PHI gets VanVleet, Love, and #4
TOR gets Hill, Milton, #3, and 2022 PHI 1st

Van Vleet is WAY to much to pay to move up 1 spot in the draft Milton and a future frp isn’t close to getting him.

Moving 4 to 3 definitely costs a pretty penny. Assuming Toronto wants to tank and rebuild, getting Jalen Green to go with Anunoby plus a top 5 pick in 2022 is a great start. They can sell Siakam off for a bunch as well.

Then I would just move on from them. If sexton and #4 ain't involved then neither should we

What about just Simmons and 28 for Siakam and VanVleet?

Personally, I'd like to avoid making any deal with a division rival unless we're fleecing them. The Danny Ainge approach.

Siakam and #4 for Simmons, Milton and #28

If we were on the west coast the Raptors would be one of the first places I'd love to send Simmons for the sake of his own career. They have the best scouts, skills trainers and development planing in the league. They're the new Spurs in that regard. As division/conference rivals though I'd avoid sending Ben there at all costs, he'd terrorize us well beyond Joel Embiid's playing career.

I’m a fan of van vleet so I’d do it.
Morey has said he wants a star. So who knows.

I believe Siakam is out until like Christmas with that torn labrum surgery. Yeah, Toronto would have to put up that #4 pick.

If we move Harris, is Ben for Ingram sound?

I dunno KD is one of my favs. Discount KD is cool but getting to watch an imitation version of him every game for your team is hella nice lol.

Ingram is allegedly on the outer at Pels as he plays no defence

Possible

There’s just no way they are going to pit Zion’s camp against Ben’s camp. Two non-shooters demanding the ball constantly. Makes no sense. Especially when you have Ingram who does it all on offense and doesn’t have the diva reputation.

Which Ben are you referring to?

I’m just sold on Lowry/Ingram/Embiid for some reason. Synergy wise it seems on paper to be a very very good fit. Ingram can take on more of the scorers job and is younger and entering his prime years.

If Morey wants a superstar, I really think he needs to speculate on someone who isn't seen as one already, like he did with Harden.

Agreed 100%. To me that's Fox, but there a few other options out there.

The one that wants to be point guard, drive into the lane and throw it to someone else.

Ben Simmons is an undersized small wingspan center who cant finish in traffic and has worse shooting mechanics than deandre jordan and rudy gobert.

He will never terrorize anyone. I still don't understand how people still have this hope or belief in his skills. He will age very poorly since his game is so transition and athleticism based and he is terrible in the halfcourt. He is a fast peaker like Wall and Westbrook.

Also Embiids injury proneness has hidden than Simmons is not an iron man either.

With all that said this summer is not the summer to sell high on this fraud. We need to keep him next season and play him at center once we trade embiid and juice up his stats (which will be mostly empty numbers). After he gets a season of inflated stats we should sell high on Simmons. You can never win big with him.

I'd be shocked if Ben Simmons cared enough to throw a fit over his role on whatever team he plays for.
