There was talk about how he needs to take difficult shots because of the double teams, most of these are 1v1. Also, most of them are with either a smaller guard or a big on him, the presumed matchups you want a guy who is stronger than guards, quicker than bigs to be on.

1) I understand that everybody looks bad in a lowlight reel, but this is just so physically painful to see. Can you imagine being forced to watch this type of basketball for the next 4 years as Maxey or McCain is standing there wide open with their hands up? Every brick = 1 Maxey/McCain tear

2) By the way, even with seeing this video, I still sort of understand the Ace Bailey appeal. Even when he misses shots or does something stupid he looks really fast. It's probably easy to convince yourself that if you can develop him, he'll be an unbelievable player, because it is true. I just think fixing him is exceedingly unlikely. Ask Taylor Swift how easy it is to fix a man.

It's smokescreen season. Who know's what's true.

Maybe they have little interest in him?

Or maybe they're really interested, but think they can trade down and still get their man so they don't want to tip the league off?

The bolded is very unlikely. If Kon Kennard was really our secret target we would have told him not to reveal the Zoom call.

I wouldn't be surprised if we've had a Zoom call with everyone in the top 10.

Notably, no news leaked from the Sixers about Derik Queen....

Only if Morey can get them to agree not to pursue Grimes in free agency :)

If he goes elsewhere, it's probably via S&T though right?

Good call. First move he makes, took the sure thing, and it looks like it's going to bite him. Could need to try and save face already.

Or Jakucionis, for that matter.

I saw somewhere that we cannot S&T Grimes because we traded for him midseason. Not sure if it's true though, hopefully CBA experts can confirm or deny.

This is what happened with Jalen Suggs in his Raptors workout. It was so bad they asked him to come in and try again lol. Smartly, they passed on him and took Scottie Barnes instead, which was a surprise.

Jalen Suggs = VJ Edgecombe with a handle and distributing chops.

If we move back to 8-12, what's a realistic target?

DQ, Newell, Jakucionis?

Can't trade back past 6. Seems like a huge drop off after 6.

Thank god the Sixers didn't take that Eurotrash from Latvia in 2015 who refused to work out for us and told us not to draft him.

I'm sure that decision worked out great!

Told yall just go Tre. Not sure why you're enamored with all these players that can't shoot. Yeah VJ shot well during this season. Tre has years of elite shooting.

This Ace controversy has Washington written all over it. Apparently they pulled the same stunt with Alex Sarr last year, telling him to avoid the Hawks to drop to them at #2 for a better chance at mins and numbers.

Make them PAY UP if they want Ace. Take him at #3 and force the issue.

Taking Porzingis wouldn't have even changed the Sixers' outlook assuming he had the same injuries.

Are you trying to claim it was a good decision to pass on Porzingis because he didn't want to come here, even though apparently Hinkie loved him as a prospect?
