It's just not going to happen, though. Embiid means too much to the fanbase, city and organization. Only way he gets moved is if he demands a trade.

That's the part I seemingly underestimated. I get it though.

yeah its also just one of those things where he'll never be worth his maximum value to another team. Because they'll want to use their leverage in a hypothetical conversation here of "well, if you're even having this conversation he must have had a setback, or you guys think he's going to get injured again and don't have confidence in him staying healthy..." its just never going to be a fully honest and appropriate conversation. If Embiid is health he's one of the guys who is untouchable. If you're putting his name out in trade talks, there must be something wrong. You would probably feel the same way with Giannis.

Bingo. Sensed that immediately and so ended the inquiry.

You guys have a hell of a squad. I was most afraid of this matchup entering the POs and you still have what I'd consider the two most important core pieces (again, big Simmons fan). If everyone is healthy these games should be fun.

definitely! Without looking it up I would say you guys took the season series last year vs us 3-1? And I know giannis went off most of them games. But I also feel like I remember Sixers winning impressively in the final game as the team started to come together. Would've been interesting to see what that would've looked like in the postseason.

I also remember Giannis eating up Simmons.. which makes me even happier in our Al Horford acquisition. Now being able to throw Simmons, Embiid and Horford at Giannis in different looks will be great in a hypothetical playoff series.

Good luck this year.

1. The 76ers have no filler
2. What for?

Actually if you ask me which Center I want for my perfect championship caliber team, I will chose Asik hands down

Zhaire could be a defensive specialist to defend quick guards with Simmons.

Richardson, Zhaire, and Thybulle could fill a need that Redick couldn't do last year. The defensive improvement should be very noticeable.

Doesn't Minnesota want to keep Roco? His contract is great value.

More like Ennis + seconds.

Could you imagine how ridiculous we'd look if Smith blossomed into Oladipo-lite?
