It's post all-star now... we should be focussed only on the team. Forget about Markelle he isn't coming back this year... and all this constant focus is going to take away from the team and the playoffs.
The 76ers have not been in the playoffs since 2011-2012 so I don't think Fultz is going to take focus away from their playoff push. Secondly he is the #1 pick overall and is not playing for "medical reasons"? So that is going to cause even casual fans to ask why? Thirdly as well as the 76ers are doing/do there is always the question what would a healthy Fultz contribute to this team? So him just being on the team is a cause for focus.
But I believe a lot of the focus has died down because of the exciting play of the team. And most people have decided that he will not be playing until next season anyway.
But the 76ers seem to be in violation of league rules by not making him available to the media. So you have that.
You want it to be one way....but it's the other way.
