Because if he is the third option we still have to bring a guard who is the second option and I'm not sure Harris, Maxey (would have to be traded in that scenario) and whatever else we have can bring that.

Can Simmons be that guy? that is the question teams will be asking themselves when trading similar value for him.

Wolves and Blazers don't need Simmons to be.

Dude, what on earth are you going to do when Simmons is gone and you don't have him around to ramble incoherently about anymore?

Golden state not giving up enough. Jordan Poole adjusted for minutes played doesn’t offer much more than what shake Milton is giving.

TJ Warren not healthy. Levert gonna to get injured sooner than later.

Pacers not giving up enough either.

Can Reed get you a couple of high 2nds or at least one? I doubt you could get a 1st for Thybulle but maybe someone coughs up a heavily protected one a few years down the line. Will a contender cough up a end of round pick for Green? There's some ways to get creative and get draft futures.

If there is an avenue to get SGA I think you try to empty out the current roster for picks that are re-routed and reassess in the offseason how to build depth. Maybe even try to miss the playoffs and add a lotto selection if the trade completely hollows out the roster. I still don't think it's possible to get what Presti wants but you never know.
Seth is our new JJ, he is not getting traded unless you want to piss off Jo.

That would depend a lot on who is coming back. A guy of SGA’s caliber will help Jo a lot more than Curry can.

Not sure I agree. Jo runs the two man game very well with him. He needs someone with that much gravity. Shai is not a shooter, he's a shot creator and a shot maker. But we need one dead eye shooter in the starting lineup. Curry is best that's available in that role. I value him very highly on this team along with his fit with Jo.

Ingram seems more and more the central return in a trade with 2-3 teams involved. Teams that want Simmons are more likely to offer primarily future and some young assets, which New Orleans might as well grab and tank because they are a long term mess and rebuild that cannot count on Zion ever getting and staying healthy.

Say all you want about how Ben won't play for the Sixers anymore, or Ben played his last game as a Sixer in the Hawks series. Please keep that in mind, and keep that same energy. But this goes out to everyone who's said that... keep going with the trade offers please, keep believing that he'll never play as a Sixer again. I dare you

Only chances of a Ben return to the Sixers

1. If Joel goes down with a season ending injury.

2. He may agree for financial reasons to play a few games for the Bluecoats to impress any potential suiters. (Doubt he does that with Sixers though)
