15/15 with 5 blocks and 2 steals would drum up a lot more trade interest than 30/12.

I agree but you forgot to blame the league (Adam) also. They forced Jerry onto Josh so now it makes the league look bad too.

The commish is too busy taking credit for patching up Dolan and Oakley to be bothered to answer for shoving the Coangelos down the Sixers throat.

Then he certainly shouldn't play against the Celtics, right?

he did OK against the Spurs last week. not 100%, but he probably can grin and bear it for the odd game when motivated.

Btw according to reports, he's gonna play tomorrow. Last game before the deadline... you just know he's gonna blow a knee out or snap an ankle.

Noel should get the start and have Jah play the Kanther role off the bench.

Not a big deal at all imo.

They held Okafor out a couple games while his name was discussed in trade rumors. Trade didnt go thru. Its part of the business

Okafor has a great relationship with Brett Brown and his teammates and will be welcomed back with open arms.

BC is a total disgrace. They said they were going to sit him until the break because they had an impending deal, now obviously they have no deal so this is why he's back in the lineup.

At least maintain the facade, BC! Keep him out until after the break! Then, when you fail miserably at the one simple task you've been given, you can bring Jah back and go hide away from all the tough questions until your end of the year presser!!

Back to Okafor....it's hard to trade someone who's got knee issues and other teams know you have to trade him

Lol messiah, I would bash Hinkie or whoever that is doing what BC is doing now. Only reason I want Hinkie back is to see him finish what he build and I don't think he would've done what BC has done this week. Hinkie wouldn't make a joke of this situation to tip his hand as BC has done. Talk about experience lol.

Maybe I missed something...how is he making a joke of the situation? I agree that Hinkie wouldn't be saying anything about Okafor....or Embiid....or Simmons....

He told BB not to play Okafor in the Heat game then sit him out the Hornets game. You don't do that unless it's a sure trade. Now Okafor is back with the Sixers in Boston, you are putting a kid in a wierd situation when he said goodbye to everyone already. No good GM does that to their players. What makes matter worst is he hasn't spoken a word about it, relying on BB to bail him out.

But if you're not tradable because of a knee injury, and I'm assuming he's talking about a physical, then you don't play him with said injury. That would increase the likelihood of injuring it further.

The perfect topping on this **** sandwich would be for Jah to speak out publicly ala Nerlens a few months ago. It won't happen because Jah barely has a pulse but he should this is embarrassing and quite frankly unprofessional.

No, no, no... These guys are not allowed to have an opinion. Otherwise it would be "unprofessional" and draw the ire of everyone on this board.

The reaction to Noel speaking out was ridiculous, because everything he said is true. It was easy to see that either Noel or Okafor would eventually stir things up due to the center logjam. I wouldn't blame Okafor at all if he felt the need to vent.

Forget all of this, I'm still pissed he let Embiid play with a torn meniscus for national television...and then hid the fact.

Hinkie brain farted the communication during the Okafor fight incident, and through that incident earned his reputation as someone who didn't communicate enough, but the last few days have been worse by Colangelo, and his one saving grace was supposed to be in these areas. In all other areas Hinkie had a clear advantage.

What the hell was he thinking allowing this to happen? I can't get over the fact that he let Okafor say good bye to everyone, and publicly made it known that he was going to trade him, and then didn't have a trade lined up!

Many of you sound like drama queens.

Would make for good sports talk radio hosts.

Colangelo pulled a card from the bottom of the deck trying to increase Okafors trade value. Didnt work. No big deal.

No one met Colangelos reserve price for Okafor and he did the right thing by pulling him back and not giving him away.

Well done Colagelo. And dont listen to the radio tomorrow. Those blowhards are going to have a meltdown

I don't care about that. It was a mistake, but it is the bone bruise that is the issue. He was right to ignore the meniscus if the doctors thought it was unrelated. Maybe he should have volunteered the information, but I certainly understand why he didn't.

This Okafor **** though I don't understand. He shot himself in the foot, while putting Brown, and Okafor in tough spots.

I'll have an open mind if he pulls it off, but I'm worried now.

You don't use the media as a "card". Hinkie didn't require that and he destroyed the Kings. ****, Colangelo got Ilyasova and first without doing that. I'm failing to see the point of letting anything leak or ever showing your hand.
