I had a dream two nights ago.

Like an actual dream that I kind of remember the details of. And I almost never dream and it's rare for me to remember anything even when I do.

Ben Simmons was traded to the Chicago Bulls.

That part I remember crystal clear.

I don't remember what players we got back. But I do remember that it was a trade that involved multiple teams (possibly up to 4) and many players (up to 10 players altogether).

If something like that remotely even happens, I'm buying lottery tickets every week for life.
Truth is on the side of the oppressed.

The 76ers are ramping up their efforts to spark multi-team trade scenarios to move Simmons, sources said, and a fresh pool of teams has emerged as potential destinations.

The New York Knicks, Los Angeles Lakers, Minnesota Timberwolves, Portland Trail Blazers, Sacramento Kings, Indiana Pacers and Cleveland Cavaliers are among the teams interested in Simmons, sources said, although it’s unclear how much traction Philadelphia truly has on any move.

Simmons has yet to play this season after reporting late to the 76ers’ training camp and informing teammates, coaches and front-office officials that he is not mentally ready to rejoin the team on the floor and needs to receive help. Simmons has sought help from a personal mental health specialist and gave the 76ers’ team therapist permission to speak with his own therapist, sources said.

But it’s clear 76ers president of basketball operations Daryl Morey has his eyes set on a potential trade scenario to ship Simmons out of Philadelphia — whenever a rival team can meet his asking price. The 76ers are currently asking teams for an All-Star-caliber player and/or multiple first-round draft picks for Simmons, sources said.

Now that we’ve hit on the two largest topics hovering around this NBA season, let’s take a look at more across the league.

In a heartbeat. Do we have to trade Green though? I like him more than Sato for his defense.

Maxey/Milton/Springer
Green/THJ/Joe
Ingram/Thybulle/Korkmaz
Kleber/Niang/Reed
Embiid/Drummond/Bassey

Probably the best we can do TBH.

I hope Morey has a two-steps plan on his table:

1. trade Simmons for a wing (someone who can act as a third star) and/or pick(s)
2. sign&trade Tobias+picks and/or youngs for Harden this summer.

Maybe we're not going to compete this year, but we'll be on a different tier the next.

I know, an year of Embiid could be lost but it's hard to improve Simmons this year.

The alternative strategy should be trade Simmons+picks for a top 10/15 player but I cannot see anyone in that tier on the verge to change jersey.

Howdy, sixers fans.

I was wondering: with the emergence of Maxey, do you think the FO will avoid getting any PGs on a future Simmons trade?

Let's say, for example, that De'Aaron Fox is gettable, or a combination of Haliburton + Barnes. Or any other available PG.

Do you think the Sixers still make this kind of trade?

Just to be clear, I agree with some of the previous posts; I think it's better if you guys get a wing for Simmons.

Cheers to all.

I think if it was the best deal available, absolutely. All things being equal, I would personally prefer a wing. Not sure what Morey actually wants outside of Dame or Harden.

I think a big part of our defensive struggles is Curry being in the starting lineup. I think our defense would likely improve if we could find a trade that allows us to slide Danny Green from the 3 up to the 2.

Maxey/Milton/Springer
Green/Curry/Joe
X/Thybulle/Korkmaz
Harris/Niang/Reed
Embiid/Drummond/Bassey

Is my ideal depth chart, with Harris being replaced with a 3&D bomber if possible.

scoring wings are the holy grail...so any on the market will probably be old or not actually good scorers lol. Ingram is the most "realistic" target but IMO I'd look to get a kings ransom for Zion if I was the Pels. I highly doubt Jaylen Brown is gettable either.

Again I keep going back to it but the Spurs are the team I'd look at. No top 25 guys but Murray and Maxey could coexist (although Maxey would go to the bench as the 6th man IMO at first) due to Murray's ability to guard multiple positions. They also have young wing prospects with some upside...and Doug McBuckets can finally become a Sixer like WIP callers desperately wanted years ago lol. It won't make us contenders but it will allow us to shuffle the deck chairs a bit and not have to rely as hard on Korkmaz or Niang being scorching hot to win games....

BUT record aside...Murray may have played himself to off the table. Derrick White has been buns this year. Vasell is also showing his worth so he is probably also off limits. Primo is years away and Doc would not even learn his name lol...and I think they love Keldon Johnson..sooooooooooo that leaves Lonnie Walker? Who I like but eeeeeh.

I really feel like this trade ends up in a way no one is talking about ATM....which could be a good or bad thing lol.

Danny's body isn't able to play major minutes anymore. He has been a lot better with the 22 minutes limit IMO

What can the Cavs be offering? No one wanted Sexton even before he got hurt. I'd have interest in Markkanen, but that requires trading Tobias. Love for Tobias, then Simmons and Milton for Markkanen, Rubio, 2 1sts, and 2 swaps?

Mik hit it perfectly, we need at least a big, athletic 3&D wing that isn't over the hill and while Maxey has been great, his best placement is probably paired with Shake in the backcourt off the bench since both are combo guards. A wing with more than 3&D scoring would be a delight, hence why Ingram is so popular in trade ideas here.

We also need a point guard with some size and defensive chops, not 6'10" Simmons size, but with Curry at SG we can't afford a small PG defensively, but need one that can create on offense.

If Haliburton, Barnes, and a pick or two is available for Simmons... the Sixers ought to jump at it. Don't know if they would, though.

Knicks, Lakers , Blazers , Cavs, Kings and Pacers , reportedly have interested in ben .

From the Lakers side its obivous WB is not going be traded . That leads to AD . AD Lakers 2025 1st round pick for ben + curry is the only deal i see.

I promise you the Lakers are trying a to push a Westbrook for Simmons deal. Even while Morey is laughing, they are still pushing it. Lakers systemic arrogance.

I would do the deal you proposed above. I just don't see LeBron approving it.

Lol AD aint no chance in hell that Lakers trade AD for Simmons.

The only posible trade is Westbrook + picks for Simmons. Still i dont see either team making that deal.

Maxey isn’t a pg and is an ideal 6th man

The team desperately needs someone with passing & defence in the backcourt
