Could you image if we got the 1st and 4th pick and drafted Ingram and Dunn? The starting lineup's average wingspan would be like 7'1.

Jordan Clarkson is pretty awful defensively though. Baldwin reminds me more of a Mike Conley/Pat Beverley like PG

Not putting him ahead of Simmons or even Ingram, but he's fully entrenched as my #3 prospect for us, and will certainly ease my pain of losing the lottery again to LA or Boston.

He may have some developing to do in certain areas (what 18 year old doesn't) but the kid can flat out score the ball, and in a variety of ways.Having a guard who can score and shoot from anywhere on the floor, get hot and carry a team on offense for stretches is a huge asset.Murray has that type of knack and could develop into a lethal scorer and would compliment any of Okafor/Embiid/Noel.

Not to mention the level of success Kentucky guards have had in the NBA.Archie Goodwin,Eric Bledsoe,Brandon Knight,Devin Booker have all had success in the NBA despite underperforming to an extent at UK. People don't realize how much these kids sacrifice individually playing on a team loaded with blue chip prospects.

I don't see any reason why he can't do what CJ McCollum is doing this year, and if you consider the fact that he turns 19 tomorrow, the kids got a ton of room for growth.

I agree 100%. I love the way he uses screens! We have plenty of big guys now. We need to load up on scorers. Ingram, Murray, Heild, Valentine, Allen... These are what we need the most!

If we could get Murray, Valentine & Hield I would be the happiest guy in the tri-state area...I think those 3 specifically fit us perfectly

Hield has a ton of hype from this season. He will go in the lottery.

I see Denzel Valentine working his way up to the top 8 of the lottery. Mich State and Izzo are always a threat to win the title. Valentine keeps getting better and better and has a chance to be a star player the next month and half. Best player in NCAA right
now.

below .500 in the Big East.

I know its a team game, but I kinda expect more from a top 5 pick who's a junior, and almost 22 years old.

Just did a Tankathon mock, and ended up with:

#2- Ingram
#4- Dunn
#22- LeVert
#27- Grayson Allen

That would be interesting....

3 blue devils on the same squad, and Allen has been teammates with both of the other two. Ingram and LeVert outside shooting is a game changer in terms of floor spacing. Dunn can work the PG spot with those two on the wings, and Okafor posting up high and low. Dunn penetrates, throws a lob to Noel, or hits Okafor on the low corner, or kicks out to one of the shooters...

I'd be super okay with that roster. Allen comes in off the bench (which is where I see him in the NBA anyways), and he can learn a lot from Dunn even thought they're close in age. But would Allen/Stauskas be okay defensively off the bench? Probably not, especially if their PF is Saric.

Allen will be nothing in the NBA and is such a dirty player and annoying to watch

Hot take: Michigan's Muhammad-Ali Abdur-Rahkman will be a better NBA player than Caris LeVert.

Currently, I'm watching Vandy v Kentucky on DVR contemplating a perfect Draft. I do like Dunn but I was thinking:

Ingram (PHI) pick, Murray (LAL), Baldwin (MIA), Allen (OKC).... Ball handlers who can score it. Ingram and Baldwin are long as guards. Murray & Allen are terrific coming off screens and deadeye 3 pt shooters even with their alligator arms.

LONG LINEUP (wingspan)

Baldwin (6' 10")
Ingram (7' 3")
Grant (7' 3")
Noel (7' 4")
Embiid (7' 9")

Scoring: Okafor, Saric, RC3, Murray, Stauskas, Hollis, Allen,

Others: Holmes, TJ, Ish

Embiid's wingspan was 7'5.75 at the draft, and has since grown 2 inches and we are left to guess how much his wingspan has increased.

Murray is really making me like him. At this time I think I would take him with the 3rd pick. I think he can be similar to Beal. I said I think he could be similar to Jamal Crawford as well. Murray can shoot. I don't love his size but I can tolerate it.

Unpopular opinion here:

Jamal Murray can still be a point guard. He's not asked to do point guard things because they have an upperclassmen who is arguably the best player in the country, but he can handle and has decent vision. I just think a player like Simmons (if that's who we draft) or our other starting guard of the future, whoever that may be, will be the playmaker/ballhandler in half court sets with Murray being the spot up shooter. He won't be a great defender against the Walls, Westbrooks, Curry's of the league, but then again, who is? I think Murray is decent enough forcing players to drive past him on defense, so hopefully Embiid and Noel can make up for his lack of elite athleticism. I don't think he'd be the worst defending starting point guard in the league.

I'm team Ingram and Murray. Screw it. Lets start scoring with our wings. Filter all wings into the paint and let Embiid and Noel go to work.

Both players can facilitate and run PNR too.

Caris LeVert is hurt again. His stock is going to tumble as he can't stay healthy. I'd happily gamble on his if he's there with the OKC pick.
