Ironic timing aside, it's still the truth.

Tyler Johnson getting waived by the Suns. He's been a below replacement value player in Phoenix, but he was very good in Miami. I wonder if he's still got anything. His theoretical skill set works well for our roster.

I like Tyler Johnson better than a lot of the guys we have on this current roster, but he wouldn't get playing time here.

I think hes at least better than Neto. And Shake Milton.
If IT isnt happening, I am very interested in Johnson.

Iguodala: I just think I was in a unique position, and I just assessed the position and said, ‘You know, what can I do going forward?’ And it wasn’t just me. I’ve got to say that too. You know, there was an agreement on both sides.

The Athletic: Is that the case?

Iguodala: For sure.

The Athletic: Because there’s some local media in Memphis who acted like that wasn’t the case.

Iguodala: Well, that’s always going to be the case. That’s what I’m saying. That’s why I said I didn’t do anything special, and that’s why I’m saying that I’m joking about the ‘case study’ part because there was a mutual agreement. … It was brought to me, you understand what I’m saying? It was brought to me. The (Warriors) trade happens, and it’s brought to me, (and he’s told), “Hey, we know you’re coming from this situation and, you know, it may not be ideal for you…”

I never approached anyone to say, “Hey, this is not somewhere that I want to be, and I’m not going to show up.” That never occurred. But that’s never going to get put out there because, you know…

Is Iguodala full of ****? I can't even tell what he's trying to say. Seems evasive in the answer.

He's telling the truth I think, as there were some reports to this effect when the trade to MEM occurred. It's on MEM for making this agreement for him to stay at home while they find a trade. They should have never agreed to that and forced his @ss to report or fined him if not.

So apparently executives around the league are organizing in the event that Embiid becomes available this summer. We really cannot let Elton Brand of all people make the most important trade in recent memory.

Nice, I look forward to becoming the 90's Magic, except without seeing the Finals.

I would seriously use Hinkie as a shadow consultant for this trade. The man was a flawed GM, but he understood the dynamics of a trade with the best of them.

It's just rumors and third party opinions right now but usually where there is smoke, there's fire.

Media wants this to happen so bad.

Final Death Knell of the process (which is dumb as it worked...just that Collars and Brand ran through the warchest like dopes...but they won't see it that way. I mean people currently go "how about that process huh". as **** and annoying this is right now is still leagues better that the Doug Collins Era lol.

I'm going full tin foil hat lol but notice how the narrative of Ben not needing to shoot has become accepted. How he legit does not get called out on his bull outside of the haters in the fanbase lol. How Horford skates free of any guff? How Elton and the pile of coats do the same? The Media is a big reason as to why ownership got cold feet. They hated the process...trading Embiid would be the end of the process era.

(you can take it further that they hate bigmen too as Davis only really gets press because of LA and Bron; Towns is a relative unknown and Jokic is only known by basketball nerds).

I hope I am wrong as usual but man the writing feels like its on the wall. Embiid unfortunately did give them ammo w/ shush gate tho.

Hope yall ready for Otto Porter Future or some **** lol

If we trade him or if he demands a trade I think I'm done as a sixers fan. The incompetence if this organization since the 2000 Iverson sixers has been inexcusable.

Let's not go too crazy people. We really freaking out over Windhorst saying that other teams are wondering if there's a possibility that the Sixers would be willing to move Embiid?

That's a a Windhorst rumor. Still not sure if dude has real sources outside of LeBron's people.

Who has a decent chance of being available this offseason actually. Strong rumors he doesn't get along with the new owner, and that was before the Hong Kong stuff.

I agree that the media and the league office would be ecstatic if an Embiid trade happened just so they can point and say tanking doesn't work lol

I'm still working under the assumption Windhorst doesn't know his head from his *** though. Also, all league execs should be discussing this kind of stuff all the time. Be prepared for anything and whatnot.

A month ago everyone was convinced Towns would end up in Golden State. NBA media likes to gossip
like teenage girls.
