Might have to wait until next fall because Embiid doesn't show up in the playoffs.

According to WT Houston looking at Brook Lopez, Dillon Brooks, Austin Reaves, Cam Johnson.

They're gonna botch this rebuild, aren't they?

KOC: The Celtics are tired of fake liking each other.

Also puts more into perspective just how bad the choke job was, particularly in Game 6.

Harden and Dillon Brooks would go a long way to screwing up the kids on their roster, I'll tell you that. But they "want to compete". Whatever.

Young players that are close in age are nearly impossible to keep together longterm. There's always jealousy and animosity that develops between them.

Jaylen and Tatum are both wings with similar skillsets. Brown the better athlete and Tatum the better all around player. Jaylen is not a 2 and Tatum is not a 4

Lopez is the sort of guy they should be looking at as he’s a model pro who can mentor the kids

The others?

Not so much

Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen had so much success as a wing duo.

Traditionally, though, you want to have a more complimentary duo.

Yea and Scottie and Michael had two different skillsets. I would say Michael is a legit wing( imo a wing is a player that can play both SG and SF at a high level ex kobe/mcgrady/vince). Scottie was a forward ex . Paul Pierce/Dirk//KD

When I watch Tatum and Brown play I see both high level forwards.

Lopez is still a very good center, a top shot blocker in the league and a shoe-in starting center on almost every team looking to contend (that doesn't already boast a Jokic, Embiid, etc.)

He's getting up there in age, but he's not ready to be put out to pasture to mentor kids. It seems as if Houston's intentions are more so to rush their timeline rather than find model players for their locker room presence.

They basically had to invent a whole new offense that limited the role of the PG to make that work :D

Seriously though: the Celtics have all the right personnel for the triangle. They should give it a whirl…

Not suggesting that Brook be put out to pasture at all

He could be a leader both on/off the court and help show the youngsters what it takes to get the most out of their careers

Harden is still a very very good player but I am not sure that he’s that guy

The Rockets are a looooong way from being contenders IMO as this season they were nothing more than an talented but undisciplined rabble & that’s not going to change overnight

If any of you receive a AND 1 from me tonight from June 2019, it's for a brutal Jimmy Butler take. That is all.

Fertitta’s businesses were in real trouble a few years ago but he’s made billions since then so maybe he’s going all in around Harden

Stranger things have happened

We’ve been binging Taskmaster for the past couple of months. Definitely a fun British game show to turn off your brain and have a few laughs.

I loved season 1 of Severance too if you haven’t watched it.

Yep that’s on Apple TV. I’ve like most of the content they’ve put out honestly
