Remember when Jalen Johnson dropped to 20th in 2021 and my face was beet red because we refused to trade up for an obvious top 5 talent? His fall might be more egregious than SGA falling to 10. His scouting report weaknesses were: he's a little flaky.

What does that mean, what do they have to buy with? If Weaver is trading picks he should be fired on the spot. Maybe they just mean taking on longer salaries for expirings?

NBA must be forcing the teams to drop some juicy rumors today:
I'm wondering if GSW can fumble all their lottery picks in the dynasty era (Wiseman, Kuminga, Moody). Would be pretty impressive.

I would think Ivey might be available. Falls in line with the other report and i think couod make sense. Otherwise, I have no idea, but I would gladly take picks asap.Sixerscan wrote:What does that mean, what do they have to buy with? If Weaver is trading picks he should be fired on the spot. If they want to send some picks to the Sixers, have at it. Sixers have a very learned, great locker room guy available who is an excellent tank commander
For real though, DET would be insane to trade picks for win now players, and the owner there absolutely should veto any of those proposals and insta-fire Weaver.

Yeah, that sucks. But if we could get Bogdanović relatively cheaply I'd be a happy camper.

3 1sts, 2 2nds, Harris, springer, furk should blow other deals away. Plenty of draft capital to rebuild plus a massive expiring in Harris. Not to mention the hilarity of the Lakers owning the Clippers draft.
Maxey - Melton - Lebron - Batum - Embiid
Beverley - Oubre - Morris - Cov - Reed
No better player for dismantling Boston than Bron. Would bring us to top 1/2 in both ortg and drtg likely.
LeBron isn't approving a trade.
Neither am I, to say the least.

Lebron on this team would be a pefect fit, it would be crazy. I think we are the best destination basketball wise. Also on the narrative part, if we win , Lebron would be lifting a team that coudn't even make the ECF and choked repedietly without him, so he would get plenty of credit.
Hope he gets tired of LA consistenly assembling poor teams around him and realizes he has to go. Also giving an historic franchise like us his first tittle in 40 years would be quite the accomplishment for his resume.
Its very unlikely hes going to want out of Lakers tho.

High Volume shooter (Bogdan or Huerter) and a stretch big like Olynk
and call it a day.

Bogdan would be perfect, but they need to just also unleash Kelly. The guy will shoot 100% of the time and allow the players to decide when.

In my view, the Warriors are the top choice to acquire Siakam. They possess all the assets the Raptors would desire, including Wiggins as a filler and a Canadian. Additionally, they have young talents that can play with Barnes like Kuminga, TJD, Podz, and Moody who can play alongside him.

Yep, Kuminga for Siakam looks like a no brainer right now.

Well with CP3 out. Maybe GSW also go for Lavine, who can easily play that Jordan Poole role.
Klay or CP3 and Moody for Lavine
Wiggins and Kuminga for Siakam

Wow, that would be pretty huge, but yeah they have the pieces. I think they would keep Klay.

It's a shame Wiseman and Kuminga couldn't figure out to just bide their time and master their role while waiting 5 or so years and then becoming the faces of the franchise. Young players are too impatient these days and they're conditioned to want to get a rookie max out of the gate.
Moody is a little more perplexing to me. Not sure what his deal is. Given his size and shooting profile, he should have been a plug and play guy from day 1. And to think it's year 3 for him and yet a year 1 Podziemski is higher on the totem pole is weird. Maybe Moody has some intangibles flaws that they don't like.

I wont be surprised if one of Morey plans for this summer is draft his son and then try the Lebron signing.elchengue20 wrote:Lebron on this team would be a pefect fit, it would be crazy. If he doesnt make a big trade at the deadline this year..

If Marc Stein is to be believed on this, then there is no way we’re making a move of consequence during the season.

I highly doubt LeBron is leaving where he's at. He essentially went to L.A. to retire.

Sounds like posturing to me. I'm sure Morey really wants to make a move. Granted, I think if a good move isn't out there, then Morey will sit this one out. Won't find out teams/GMs real intentions until the deadline when they're forced to make a decision.Negrodamus wrote:https://www.reddit.com/r/sixers/comments/18zj7q7/stein_the_strong_sense_ive_gotten_is_that_they/
