Sixers Receive:
Jabari Smith Jr.

Rockets Receive:
Kenyon Martin Jr.

Jabari Smith Jr. is underwhelming with 11 ppg, 6.7 RPG average in his third year. But who could have the same career trajectory as Andrew Wiggins, where he would find the calling for his career as a role player on a contender.

I'm a little confused about Jabari Smith. I thought he was supposed to be a 40% 3p% guy on big volume. Is his shooting just not translating to the NBA?

I suppose it's easy to get caught up in the transactional aspect of the NBA.

Guys like Maxey are a rare breed in terms of having 5 star talent and also having a good head on his shoulders. You simply don't get rid of guys like that.

Rare breed indeed. And willing to commit on improving his game during the offseason like Joel. Something employee number 25 has NEVER done while here.

I don't get it either. He projected as an elite shooter at the NBA level. As did Cade Cunningham and Jalen Green.

Tari's minutes are starting to climb, and Jabari Smith's are starting to fall

You know how Udoka is, he's a defensive minded coach first - he's started to lose patience with his starters, notably letting Sengun sit long stretches on the bench and playing Tari and Amen more and more depending on game state.

Read on Twitter

Can't see Raf Stone trading Tari at the moment, but that was Morey's shot at a Harden 2.0 deal.

If it were between Kuminga and Jabari Smith, I'd definitely lean Jabari and attempt to tap back into his tools. Nearly 7' tall and a willing shooter. Was a beastly defensive prospect at Auburn and only a year older than McCain as well for some context.

Also I'm invested in his good ft% than his bad 3pt%, Derrick White in SA all over again.

Get it done, he’s showing signs that he wants to be a Sixer

How about

Kenyon Martin Jr. (+ small salary filler to 3rd team if needed, e.g. Jackson)
+ pick compensation

For

Donte DiVincenzo

Donte does not seem to be very happy in MIN is playing bad

This team being this bad can't afford to trade the LAC 1st (or any of our own 1sts).
2025-2026 Philadelphia 76ers:

Maxey/McCain/Lowry
Edgecombe/Grimes/Gordon
George/Oubre/Edwards
Bona/Watford/Barlow
Embiid/Drummond/Broome

Yea, the thing about our situation is that we're totally backed into a corner and most of the targets we're linked with are complete question marks about if they're in fact even good at basketball or living off of draft hype.

Jabari was a guy I never understood the hype

he has stiff hips and is a theoretical shooter.

The idea of a stretch 4 that can protect the rim and switch onto wings is the dream not the reality

I like that very much for Sixers. Im quite high on Donte. But I think Wolves has a big plan for Donte, they see him as a replacement for Conley

Yea I was watching back the Auburn tape and he didn't look nearly as impressive as I had remembered, but we were also a 50 win team so I doubt many of us were super actively tracking that draft. If you were looking for a player that had self creation upside, I totally see the stiffness.

His defensive tape has translated though, at least in terms of 1 on 1 in isolation. He's still massive and long (?) with quick feet. He's also good on the glass.

People saw the physical traits and the way he shot the ball and thought maybe he was a Durant junior, but I could see him carving out a role as a Shane Battier type.

I haven't watched a tonne of Jabari though and there are certain things that you can't find from the statsheet alone. Mental profile / decision making etc.

Batum was 35 years old averaging 2 points per game as a Harden trade throw-in and he was one of the best roleplayers I've watched in the Embiid era.

Why the Sixers do it:
This move creates a true Big Three, positioning the Sixers as serious championship contenders. If they don’t act, OKC might swoop in for Giannis, which would likely close their championship window anyway.

Bucks Receive:
Tyrese Maxey
Jonathan Kuminga
KJ Martin
2028 LAC 1st Round Pick
2029 LAC pick swap option

Bucks Starting 5:
Tyrese Maxey
Damian Lillard
Khris Middleton
Jonathan Kuminga
Brook Lopez

Why the Bucks do it:
The Bucks get a promising young star in Maxey and additional assets to build for the future, plus Kuminga’s potential as their future starting forward. Compete now with Dame, Maxey and Kuminga. Compete later with Maxey, Kuminga and the LAC picks

Warriors Receive:
Kelly Oubre
2026 Sixers or OKC 1st Round Pick
2030 Sixers 1st Round Pick

Why the Warriors do it:
Oubre fills Kuminga’s role, and they add two 1st round picks, which allows them to avoid overpaying for Kuminga while building future assets.

We need to have a conversation

Jared McCain
Gary Trent Jr.
Paul George
Giannis
Embiid
