Also, is there anything more pretentious than pronouncing Batum as "buh-toom"? I know that's how he pronounces it, but man if I was in a real life conversation with someone about the guy and they kept pronouncing it that way I would have to tell them to STFU.

I call him bay-tum. How it should be pronounced. Yes, I know he's french and I don't care.

So when you apply for a job you give them your resoom?

Do you call someone's first performance their dee-but?

Do you drink coffee at a kayfe?

...

I'd love to hear an answer.

Wonder what Batum's dee-but in Philly would be like?

I actually really like Batum's fit here, mainly because i think turner can more than replace Iggy.

If their were added incentive, like Fernadez (shipped somewhere else for value) and por's 1st i'd probably do it.

If we continue to win i'll be surprised if an Iguodala trade happens but the Portland idea does sound really great to me and i'd do it if it's offered.

Nicolas Batum missed Saturday nights game due to an injury to the surgically repaired shoulder that had him sit out 45 games last season. Do not want him as a Sixer now at all. Portland hasn't had a good track record with keeping their young players healthy. Batum has clearly regressed this season, possibly the surgically repaired shoulder could be the culprit. Minnesota was pissed that Portland sent them damaged goods in Martell Webster. I don't think the Sixers will trade an iron man in Iguodala for a guy with a suspect surgically repaired shoulder.

Yeah, you better not say day-bue. I would call you pretentious and tell you to STFU if anyone ever said that in a real life conversation.

Iguodala and Brand to PHX for Carter, Pietrus and Lopez.

The 6ers get cap relief and a big man prospect. The Suns get two pieces to stay strong in the west. PHX also has Orlando's pick to throw into the deal.

The Suns have a trade exception left over from Amare leaving. This deal could be expanded, in a separate deal of course, to include Louis Williams.

PHX gets stronger, the 6ers get even more cap relief.

Iggy is the poor mans version of Vince Carter. Only difference is that Carter was an elite scorer/superstar at one time. But can still score and shoot the ball as well as anyone even though his legs are shot. Iggy still in his prime still hasn't figured out how to shoot the ball yet with both feet under himself and shoot with a nice follow through that doesn't look so forced,

I would give New York an idea ...

Iguodala + Speights for Eddy Curry (11 million coming off the books) + Gallinari

I really think Iguodala will fit Felton and Stoudemire much better than Carmelo Anthony ever will.

^ not a big Gallo fan :( but if we did do Iggy to NY, no need to throw Speights in.

I don't think NY even considers Iggy unless Melo extends somewhere. If they do, I wouldn't be suprised if we get a better offer than that. Like whatever they were going to offer for Melo, cause quite frankly they need someone to help Amare before he burns out. If they do get Melo, i think a
Speights/LWill for Randolph/Azubuike works well for both teams.

No to Gallo. His lack of defense in the starting lineup makes him a bad fit at SF long term. He projects as a super sub, but he'll probably be a bad contract when that day comes.

You might want to revise since you have Landry going nowhere and Batum ending up with two different teams. Then we can discuss the other reasons it wouldn't work.

Batum would be a definite allstar if he played for 2 teams at once, especially when they play eachother. I like it.
