The Spurs GM talking like Charlie Brown's teacher while Victor got posterized is classic.

Summer league is meaningless but I'm not buying Wembo. Never have.

Champagnie would probably be our best wing if still here. Lol

Not going to shed a tear over the loss of a summer league star.

It’s less about Champagnie and more about the sad state of this roster.

Dalen Terry is an excellent player who has absolutely no chance at forming a jumper. Predraft Lonzo Ball energy (who performed the miraculous and completely rebuilt his jumper).

Loved what I saw from Amen Thompson. Seemed to play with good control and calmness. Wasn't forcing the issue and trying to hunt dunks. Actually displayed some crafty finesse finishes. Playmaking chops were on full display with some fantastic vision and feeds.

His steal and block numbers were absurd.

NBA front offices are going to regret so hard letting Leonard Miller fall as far as he did.

16 points and 11 boards in 26 minutes on 7 of 11 shooting. Dude is pure efficient production.

That kid looks like a player. His speed, first step, ability to finish, and court vision are elite.

Houston would be foolish not to build around him, they might have gotten the steal of the draft.

I keep semi-facetiously calling him Michael Jordan 2.0 but I do believe he fits that exact archetype of guys like Michael Jordan/Kawhi Leonard/Grant Hill.

I think he was best prospect in the draft and should have been hyped up as #1 over Wemby. I think the only reason he wasn't is because Josh Jackson was a bust. But Jackson and Thompson are on different planets, brain-wise. And Josh had t-rex arms and Amen's wingspan is over 7 foot so there were clear differences.

I think everyone is overreacting about Wemby's debut, as the pressure had to be ridiculous and he's not exactly surrounded by top shelf talent. But if I had to bet, Thompson will be the kid who ends up being the best player in this draft.

I just won't be a believer in a 7'4" guy playing like a wing until I see it. Too many things against it - health, the tendency of the league to take strengths away, etc. He should be a freak defensively, and the best thing he has going for him is a guy like Pop, who's been down this road before.
