Trading every pick we have for Cam Johnson would be tremendous for our future!!

I know everyone loves Mark, but Bridges fits better as he can keep a fast pace as this team looks so good doing. I think Mark slows the team down.

Mark who? Marcus Morris?
There’s isn’t a Mark in this league that would keep us from
Wanting Mikal Bridges perfect fit and unavailable for trade.

We agree BKN does not want to trade Bridges. Cam, however, could be interesting.

Thomas or Johnson?

The former is virtually impossible as he’s on a very cheap contract

What can you say about Cam Thomas? Is he a good player?

Morey on the Big Move: "We won't get our dream guy almost for sure. We'll probably have to get something and make it work. But I would say first off, they need to be pretty solid on both ends. As you get into the playoffs, it gets very hard for your top guys to be elite one way."

I hate to break it to you.. but he’s referring to guys like Markannen.

You cant trade for players just because you have assets. If thats the case then Doncic or Jokic would be playing for the Thunders already

In all seriousness? Is Lauri a 7’0 SF? It’s strange that he kind of got on the radar playing SF in Cleveland next to Mobley & Allen. Goes to Utah where he makes all star as a PF just for them to trade for John Collins this season. Wassup with that?

The dream is probably Kawhi in free agency.

He left money in Toronto to go home to LA after whining in SA that he wanted to go home to LA. And he's now playing for a stupid rich owner in LA who's been throwing money away at anybody that wants to take it. I think PG is more likely but both are almost certainly staying there.

But morey did say unlikely, lol

I was referring to Johnson. Although we have a resident poster here who is the number one Thomas stan.

Having said that, I would rather poke my eyes out than watch Tobias play a minute for us & the Nets would never do it anyway

Yeah, you wouldn't get all the picks for Cam. Mikal, sure, but we've established he's not available.

I wouldn't be surprised if the first three names on Morey's list are Doncic, Kawhi, and Paul George.

Young and raw with potentially an elite scoring game

Really solidly built so could develop into a solid defender in the mould of a bigger Lowry

Nets are fortunate that he’s under contract for another 2 years as the extra time will enable them to more accurately assess what they have & how to value him

Come on man! You know, the thing!

You all knew it was Markkanen I was referring to, didn't you?

I mean it could have been Markie Mark, I guess.

Or, Mark Harmon, maybe.

Mark Twain?

Apologies, I didn't feel like looking up how to spell Markkanen at the time.

If he keeps it up, he will lead the league in scoring one day. 28ppg at age 22? Its only a matter of time before he rounds up the easier part of the game like assists and defense which he’s showing improvement this season

Jazz only giving up markannen if they gey Siakam and the picks.

I also dont know why Sac has to join the party

Then if Jazz is only going to do it for Siakam, Jazz will then cut us out. Where its going to be Siakam and picks for Markannen instead.

Alex Caruso is playing just 22 MPG coming from the bench. He has a contract size that would still leave us enough optionality, while his playmaking and two-way impact is exactly something you want to pair Maxey with.

Question is whether you are willing to trade him for a decent 1st, meaning that if a true game changer comes available, you have lost an additional asset.

I personally like the short and long-term implications of betting on Embiid and Maxey, by surrounding them with really solid two-way players.

Upgrading Melton to Caruso would certainly be helpful.
