They'll try to send Hield, but Morey won't be interested and we'll push for Haliburton or Fox. Not sure if that's realistic, but I could see that becoming a narrative during the season, especially if Sac sucks again.

If anything it will be fox with us adding to Ben to get him imo. Haliburton, Mitchell, and Hield all compliment Ben. I would definitely do it still even if we added a first or something

Yea, I think Fox is somewhat getable if Sac just sucks for the first 2 months. Davis, Haliburton, and Hield compliment Ben quite a bit, the only problem I see is a lack of shooting from big men. That'll contribute to the same issues he had here. They'd have to begin the process of building the team around him.

What it must take to believe something as foolish as this...

Jump out of your Sixer bubble and realise what a joke the coach, GM, organisation and star player is. Everyone else can see it.

70% of the reason he was an allstar was because he played in PHILLY (see Jrue Holiday and Andre Iguodala). The other 30% was because of his affiliation with Klutch.

Nobody thinks Ben Simmons is a real allstar. He's a career 15 ppg player who has no skill level.

Would like to get Jahmi'us Ramsey back from Sacramento. He's not much of a shotcreator, but he's a decent passer, makes plays defensively, and can be a willing bomber from three (based on his college career).

What do you think about the Indiana stuff? 3 team deal with sabonis going somewhere so we get a good return?

I rate Simmons over Ingram, so no.

But to answer your initial question... to keep a franchise player happy. It's looking like two superstar talents that have been drafted by the Pels org in the past decade, and the team has failed to keep morale or build a winner around either. Maintaining Zion's enthusiasm (/winning) is priority number one for David Griffin this year. If the team gets off to another 2-10 start core changes will be made.

I'm not familiar with the specifics. What is the proposed return that we can get?

I think a Pacers trade would be Morey getting fed up with the situation and just trying to take solid vets. Really doesn’t feel like the move unless Sabonis is involved.

Keldon Johnson is a big pile of nothing, to me ha.

No steals. No blocks. No unassisted buckets. No threes. No assists.

He's legitimately a no-tool player lol.

It’ll be someone else’s problem soon. They’ll blame his teammates or the organization for a basketball player refusing to shoot the ball or having a mental breakdown while shooting free throws.

It will be so nice to no longer have Ben stans/family members around here any longer.

Were there Iguodala stans back in the day? Since they are basically the same level of player. I love Iguodala but I don't remember anyone being butt hurt and defending his honor when he was traded.

I don't buy this report. The Spurs won't trade Keldon Kohnson like Morey wouldn't trade Maxey last year. There's a larger context people are missing here.

It seemed to me back then that Sixer fans were pretty unanimous in wanting Iggy’s passive aggressive *** gone, but I’m sure there were a few.

Devin Vassell is the young guy on the Spurs with the highest upside anyway IMO. And Murray can be a poor man’s replica of Ben, but one who can create and is willing to shoot, albeit poorly. Also allows Curry to start without any defensive issues. Couple of unprotected firsts and salary filler… call it in to the league office.

What Ben does or does not do in San Antonio under Pop isn’t going to cause any sleep lost.
