Murray does a lot of what Simmons did for half the current salary cost, fills a lot of gaps on the team, better than Ben at some things, another high end complementary player. Would have to come with Vasell and a salary we could hopefully combine with Danny and assets for a better wing scorer.

Fox, Murray, Beal, none are real floor spacers, people overrate Beal’s long range shooting quite a bit.

Ingram gives you a scoring wing who can pass and shoot, then we still need another lead guard.

None are perfect and one thing to remember is that good PNR creators probably fit better on our second unit sine Jojo rarely rolls or sets a hard screen and Tobias is allergic to screen setting.

I still think D'Angelo Russell offers the best combination of talent/fit/obtainability. Still just 25 years old, would be a longterm piece.

Dude is injury prone and incredibly inefficient.

I read how he is also one of the most clutch players in the league.

We just need someone who can take those shots in crunch time and get us good points per shot to bail us out when our dribble drive offense get stalled. Not necessarily a guy who can score 40 a game when we need him.

I think Wolves are focus on building around DLo, KAT and Edwards by surrounding them with glue guys like Vanderbuilt and Beverly.

We dont think we need someone like CP3 who will run PnR the entire game. I think we’re comfortable with our type of Spurs-like offense with heavy dribble drive with bail out from Embiid.

We just need someone who can play dribble drive offense and also do a little ISO on good PPP. Something that Tobi can’t.

They’re going to try for a big move as they’re 12-15 and KAT isn’t happy

Better then playoff Ben and I guess thats all that really matters. Advanced stats for career regular season games would show Simmons to be more then marginally superior however. Im one of the biggest Ben detractors around but its ludicrous how far his stock has fallen he is a multiple time all star and an all 3rd team NBA player and a main cog in a playoff team for years. Even a year ago no one would say Simmons for Murray was ridiculous I feel like the consensus then would probably be the Sixers shouldn't do it.

No to Simmons and Harris for Fox Hield and Barnes. Ive changed my mind on Fox he is not very good and neither is Heild. I actually like Barnes the most in terms of a guy that fills a role that is valuable on a NBA team. Maybe a three team deal where we get Barnes and a player from another team better then Fox or Hield. Espn threw out some interesting trades today one was Simmons for Sabonis and TJ Warren and another a three team deal that got us Sabonis and Colin Sexton. Would much rather do either of those deals if there possible. I would bring those guys off the bench the Sixers would be super deep like Utah. Sexton could be Jordan Clarkson/Lou Williams type. Sabonis and him would be amazing against second units. Sabonis and TJ Warren would be amazing against second units as well. Could still play those guys starters minutes like 28-30 a game.

Agree 100%

Some people are so desperate to end the saga and move Harris that they seem willing to accept anything

Fox is no better than current Maxey but he’s on a max contract and his attitude stinks

Hield is no better than current Seth but he’s on $20 million and his attitude stinks

Barnes I could live with in a trade for Tobias with Bagley included

I have been critical of Morey throughout but he’s 100% correct to be asking for Fox ++ in a trade for Simmons alone

In terms of your interest in them joining the Sixers in a Ben deal.

Murray and Fox I don't have any interest in unless there is much more coming back. Ingram I have interest in and Beal I have interest in.

For me it's

1. Beal
2. Ingram
...
10. Fox
11. Murray

I think he's better than Maxey atm but trading for him makes it almost impossible to play both of them on the court at the same time and probably means Maxey is getting traded at some point.

I also think it's not impossible that Maxey surpasses Fox at some point. You are just setting yourself up for future problems down the road by trading our best asset while really not fixing the things that this team needs.
