Maxey-Oubre-PG-DFS-Embiid
Lowry, McCain, Gordon, Crowder, Drummond

If we were (hypothetically) to go into the playoffs with those 10 healthy how do you feel?

Forreal, I think the podcast theory is real. They got Daryl recording ad reads for Hellofresh and ****.
They say an analytics man doesn't have a heart, but I ran the numbers and nothing can be further from the truth - Sam Hinkie probably

Bring back Oubre and Melton. Then trade Paul Reed and maybe one or 2 assets (depending on player coming back) for a legit starting 4. A+++ offseason
always a jump shot away.

TTP wrote:Curious what other moves are still coming. I thought Melton would have been gone but since KCP signed with Orlando, maybe they bring him back to start again depending on what's going on with his back. His units were great last year.

I'm guessing they'll try to get Lowry and maybe Covington back on min deals. Both are Morey favorites that can give good rotation minutes (assuming Covington is back from that mystery injury situation).

They prob bring Oubre back on the room exception too, though I'm probably lower on him than most, even moreso if he's starting.

Potential team could look like...

Starters: Maxey/Melton/Oubre/PG/Embiid

Bench: Gordon, Lowry, Drummond, Covington, RC4, McCain, Bona

3 other roster spots left after that, not counting the two way guys. Overall not super thrilled with Oubre starting though - maybe they plan to start Gordon.

I saw some stat that in the finals, Dallas’ role players made 16% of their open threes and Boston’s players made 43%. Something like that. Granted small sample size and luck, but I could see Oubre just missing open threes for us when it counts. I still like him if he’s cheap, but I also have trepidation about relying on him when it counts.

It was already reported that the meeting was later tonight. PG and his reps prob just want to meet and go over the team’s plans. They don’t need to rush it, if both sides already know what’s going to happen.

Lmao I never even considered that. What a time to be alive.

He should let my man McCain announce it over Tik Tok via dance.

That would sure make a lot of people "angry"

Slacktard wrote:Has anyone noticed that with the Clippers having Leonard on a 3 year deal, Harden back on a 3 year deal. They are basically set to blow-up the year before Sixers own the Clippers 1st round pick? Both Harden/Leonard's contracts would expire after the 2026-2027 season. The Sixers got the Clippers 2028 1st (unprotected)

Harden is on a 2 year deal with a player option on the second one.

Still, i agree they're blowing up the team, they just want one or two years being semi-decent to recoup part of the investment on the stadium

I need to get off the Internet for about an hour before I have a heart attack

I’ll go back to the DrJ, Moses Malone, Andrew Toney, Cheeks, Bobby Jones days - I saw the last championship and I want another one before I’m pushing up the daisies.

Oubre was a good player last season, but he's not a starter on a contender. I rather start Gordon if it comes to that

Might go up as some contenders are being left behind

Yeah, not resigning him would definitely kill some of the excitement of this offseason for me…which is probably ridiculous.

Sucks for the fans. They should’ve just had the meeting at 6pm, but they aren’t anxious because they already know.

Getting Oubre back on vet min would be huge. Leaves enough for 2 other rotation pieces with the remaining cap and RE.

Plus we get early bird rights on Oubre for next offseason to get him paid then. Of course he'll need to trust Daryl Morey lol...

Would be so much fun to bring Dario back. Should do it just for the vibes.

I'd be happy with Dinwiddie, Lowry, Walker, Crowder and THE HOMEY!
