So Lonzo was a plus for the Lakers last night? Really you are going with that? Okay.

I think he was showing the irony of the second tweet. Kuzma played great and was -11, Lonzo was +10. Single game means nothing, Lonzo’s on/off for season is gross.

Not trying to sound Barkley dumb, but that's just dumb.

Ball just happened to be on the court when they were doing well, was he the reason for them doing well?

Nope.

Still think Lonzo will have a successful career in the NBA as a role player.

If everything goes well, his ceiling is Rondo, which is still pretty good.

I might watch the replay of the Lakers game. Wasnt able to catch it because of work.

Anyway, did Blazers stepped up their D on Lonzo? Dame is not know for being a good D isnt it. But I heard in podcast (collective NBA) that Blazers are playing good D in small sample size

They fixed him. He's now a plus player.

Jah's probably.. "I better land with a team that plays the blazers ASAP."

Thats why he needed extra space

This was the cornerstone of my argument against him as a prospect. What Chuck didn't touch on is that his stroke is so jacked that I can't see reformation. It's not a simple fix like adjusting your elbow. This is a complete rebuild from the bottom up. But do the Lakers want to do that? He can hit shots like that; why mess with his psyche and a thing that works when wide open?

That's the investment the Lakers made and I'm so glad we didn't.

So Brandon Ingram is playing pretty good defense this year and has slowly crept up to being a mid-volume scorer. I'm pleasantly surprised with his progress. I don't see much star potential, but he's trending towards being a legitimate starter.

Just look at all the space Bayless get's to shoot wide open shots. Ball should be kicking himself....he could of done the whole give up the ball and chill in the half court routine on our team where he's giving the ball up to two franchise players. It should of been 76ers or bust if I was in Balls camp but he get's the light and the glamour and ultimately the failure that is L.A. He needs to pray Bron comes to L.A

Watching at the clips, Lonzo's issue with the shot isnt its not going in but he can't pull it off against quicker and longer defenders. There was one instance that he needed to take a step back after he was very very lightly guarded.

For me, the only way Ball can excel is playing with multiple allstars like the Thunders or Warriors where a simple good pass can translate to easy assists due to the star offensive player's ability to score challenged shots

So glad we dodged the Ball bullet. He will be lucky if he meets his draft-day projection of Ricky Rubio.
2025-2026 Philadelphia 76ers:

Maxey/McCain/Lowry
Edgecombe/Grimes/Gordon
George/Oubre/Edwards
Barlow/Watford/Walker
Embiid/Drummond/Bona/Broome

Yep, I've mentioned the same thing as Chuck numerous times. He can only drive left. That predictability makes him easy to defend it's why I had him as the biggest chance to bust in the draft and wanted no part of his in the top three. It's amazing for a team that picked 2nd for what 3 straight years. They only have Ball and Ingram to show for it.

Carter:
“These days, it doesn’t matter anymore. The Lakers and the Knicks have been bad — the Knicks for a very long time, the Lakers since Kobe aged out of being one of the best players in the league,” Carter said while on the Rich Eisen show. “You can be known or be a star from anywhere — anywhere in the world ... When you win as an athlete, that matters the most.”

He isn't coming to the Lakers
