“These days, it doesn’t matter anymore. The Lakers and the Knicks have been bad — the Knicks for a very long time, the Lakers since Kobe aged out of being one of the best players in the league,” Carter said while on the Rich Eisen show. “You can be known or be a star from anywhere — anywhere in the world ... When you win as an athlete, that matters the most.”

He isn't coming to the Lakers

I think there was a point LeBron really entertains being a Laker. But he's near sold that Ball is a bust, Paul George will re-sign with OKC and being a Laker is a career suicide.

If I'm LeBron, I'll ask a good share of Lakers ownership post retirement for me to consider them

I don't believe a word maverick Carter says about Lebrons free agency. Not saying he's right or wrong

So, DSJ looked great in his debut, but has been awful since returning. His scoring has plummeted.

He's 6'2" with short arms. What's to stop him from being the next Jerryd Bayless?

Bayless was as good, if not better than him as a highschool and college player.

Donovan Mitchell cooking again. Only positive player on their team at the start of the fourth. Utah needs a Ben Simmons on their team.

I'm going to predict a triple double by Ball tonight and Russell scoring 43 points. Two bad teams with two players who have something to prove, and this game will mean nothing, really.

Tell you what I won't predict, defense.

It’s funny that Lonzo’s net rating gets better the less he does in the Lakers’ offense.

And the more they play the Nets.

The Celtics are the best team in the east. Imagine if Hayward didn’t get hurt.

They are ok. They are a dreadful defensive and rebounding team and Kyrie has been disappointing. They've had a pretty soft schedule to start. Sixers match up well with them.

Kyrie has been far from disappointing. People said he couldn’t lead a team and cajoling win without LeBron. He’s proving those people wrong. Kyrie is playing great without Hayward. The Celtics are clearly the best team in the east right now.

He can't lead a team without Lebron, I think that is pretty clear. I think they'll probably make the playoffs, but who knows it remains to be seen.

Lol. Please. He’s doing a great job. Take off your anti-Celtics glasses. Kyrie is leading a young team without Hayward. The Celtics are the best team and Kyrie is showing great leadership.

1998: Jordan Pippen vs Stockton Malone
2017: Lonzo/Brook vs DLo/Lonzo

I'm just telling it like it is. Sometimes it takes people a little while to catch up, you'll get there eventually. Give it time.
