Thats what our cap space is for. For guys like Greg Buckner
Ugh.... that Greg Buckner contract still haunts me. Pretty sure we're still paying that guy.

6 years $18m and it hurts like hell back then. That is loose change nowadays.

Remember in the Finals when we faced the Lakers, Phil Jackson asks Tyrone Lue to play Iverson so they can exercise on how to stop him.

I think it’s a good practice if we let Ben play Giannis and let Biid and Al practice to defend Giannis.

And at the same time, this should help Ben on his offense just as this did help Lue on his offense.

Let's not act like Tyronne Lue ever improved offensively.

He went from a 7ppg scorer to a 13ppg scorer. Then as a coach, he have more champion ring than brad stevens and buddenholzer. 8-)

It looks like the heat might hold us off for that 4th spot with Ben out.

First round exit has a good chance of getting rid of the Colangelo holdovers, however. Silver linings and all.

No chance. We're about to be only 0.5 games back. We'll pass them easily. The real question is will we catch Boston (likely) or Toronto (unlikely).

Miami doesn't have a killer schedule either. And they have the tiebreaker. I would still favor them to be the 4th seed. And while Boston has a tough next 10 games or so, they get a long list of cream puffs to finish out March.

This
I already checked out the Heat schedule and its sweet with a good team sprinkled in every now and again.

We have a dreaded road stretch coming up which we have yet to shown an ability to win.

Remaining SOS according to Tankathon:

Philly - 29th
Miami - 20th
Boston - 13th

Gaining 4 games in Boston without Ben will be difficult, but doable. With the number of home games remaining, I think it’s likely we pass Miami.

Most importantly, I just hope Ben’s ok. This isn’t a championship level team IMO, and Ben’s health (along with Jo’s) are really the most important things for our future championship aspirations.
2025-2026 Philadelphia 76ers:

Maxey/McCain/Lowry
Edgecombe/Grimes/Gordon
George/Oubre/Edwards
Watford/Barlow/Walker
Embiid/Drummond/Bona/Broome

Brad Beal looked ready to blow a gasket after putting up back to back 53+ point games and losing both of them.

I'm surprised we didn't trade Embiid to move up and grab him.

Accumulating stats for your reputation and future paydays in a big market ain't the worst life. They could always prioritize winning and/or weather later in their careers.

Lavine is right. Boylen should back off. Zach is maintaining volume scoring at good efficiency while becoming a good defender and incorporating more passing into his game. What more do you want from him? Seems like him continuously being so hard on Lavine is just a transparent attempt to emulate Saban/Popovich/Belichick. You don't have the clout to be a hardliner, Boylen.

So yeah, Malik Monk is a doofus and it explains why he hasn't had the success he was capable of.

Saw an article on Yahoo where Glenn Robinson talks about how he was disappointed to be traded to the Sixers. Mentions that there's too many wings in Philly, he doesn't know his role, and he didn't care the Dubs were awful he just wanted to keep getting minutes and putting up numbers so he can get paid this summer.
