I don’t see clippers saying no
I honestly have no idea what cp3’s value is, but Tobi is a perfect tank commander for the okc rebuild...

CP Shake PG Ben Al
Terry Burks Matisse ? ?

Quite honestly that team has championship aspirations and a more flexible future.

Embiidi is worth more than PG.
So why in the world is J Rich going too?

The Kings already have a package in place to trade Bagley and Marinkovic for Luca and picks.
You want it to be one way....but it's the other way. (Marlo)

I love Fox, he was my favorite player in that draft, and still really like him.

Doesn't he hold a lot of value? Are you just speculating that their new FO wants to start fresh or is there a rumour attached?

Depends on the eye of the beholder. Given that shooting is the most en vogue trait in the league, Fox might have less value among certain circles than he does in others.

I haven't heard any rumors. I'm just assuming that a new regime that didn't draft a particular player might want to trade that asset before they have to max him out.

I don’t really agree with that I would think that Sacramento would be adding sweetener with picks and hield for horford or something.

I would even take terrible ass Harrison Barnes back as salary filler if it meant we got De'Aaron Fox.

Fox and Barnes for Simmons works and is a great trade.

Simmons is a very good player, but he's an ancillary talent on a max contract. Just not good value. His max would be much better suited on a player like Fox that can score off the dribble and make a legitimate impact in the playoffs.

Kings win too because they get a winning piece (albeit overpaid) that can make plays to their surrounding shooters and bring a fun style back to Sacramento. Also, Sacramento is closer to L.A. than Philly is so Ben wins.

Yeah but taking Barnes back is adding another big long term contract while not moving one of ours. Fox is about to get paid as well, assuming a max for him. I’m not giving Ben and eating a bad contract to get Fox.

Think OKC would have any interest in Wiggins as a reclamation project who could fill a scoring role during the rebuild and keep them at the cap floor? I never watch Wiggins but know he's got a terrible reputation.

Paul & Looney to PHI
Wiggins, Scott & Zhaire to OKC
Horford to GS

Philly gets Paul and a backup C to replace Horford. OKC gets some salary relief and a look at Wiggins. GS gets a big upgrade at centre and saves a lot in luxury tax. GS are the clear winners to me so maybe they also send a protected first to OKC.

Philly runs into some luxury tax issues that might make this unrealistic without a follow up deal (e.g. Harris/McCollum).

I don't think anyone would have interest in Wiggins

What do you mean not moving one of ours? We'd be moving $177m over the next 5 years for Simmons.

Also, Barnes is on a de-escalating contract. He'd be incredibly easy to flip.

I'll be pissed if we go into next season with Tobias Harris and Harrison Barnes on the same Sixers team.

Didn't realize Fox was so unspectacular from the FT line, and underwhelming from 3.

I'd rather target Schroder who'd be way cheaper anyways.

But Fox is going to get the same contract as Simmons, well now a little cheaper after Simmons got 3rd team all nba. And then you’re adding Barnes for 3 years (didn’t realize it was declining contract) but still 22, 20, 18.

So moving Simmons for soon to be equal contract in fox and adding 20 million Barnes to payroll on top of embiid, Harris, horford.

I don’t hate it, just think I’d want pick 12 if I’m taking Barnes. We could then with a little sweetener get into Devin Vassell territory.

Give me this lineup with D'Antoni coaching:
Chris Paul
Terrence Ross
Josh Richardson
Ben Simmons
Joel Embiid

Feels pretty obtainable.

Go up tempo. Bomb 3s. Run Ben/CP3 PnR. Give Jo a post up every like 5 possessions or so.

Return to Philadelphia 76ers
